Predictions:

1. Ebukam lost his job today. If Staley doesn't do that teams are going to eat him up until the change is made IMO.

2. Hill showed his ass and Staley should be looking at Long this week and considering whether he can remove that inconsistency with a roster move. Hill's strong game 2 in the slot just got undone by today's game and other teams are going to attack him.

3. McVay will realize he can switch up the playcalling priority wrt some of the fancy play calls. Especially in the redzone. In the redzone dial up more power runs IMO and things will look a lot more automatic in finishing drives. Seriously man this OL was incredible in the run game today and that's a huge story here.

Hard to complain about much when you lose on a bullshit call by the officials. The 3rd and long downs should never have been converted but I guess you give yourself a pretty good chance when your line is holding the shit out of the opposing defense. Again, the refs completely fucked this game up all 4 quarters. I'm more pissed off at how soft the fuckin league has become and games constantly being decided by bullshit calls late in the 4th quarter - even when they're to our benefit. It's just shit for the sport and the NFL has done absolutely nothing to discourage refs from making stupid fucking calls like that.

The D has been trash in the first half all three games so far. I'm not sure what the plan is. I just don't like it. Second half D has been leaps and bounds better. But I obviously don't like the 3rd down D on the last drive at all. That said, Allen has improved leaps and bounds and made some great throws.

The bright spot to me is we DO have a running game again. Hendo played his @ss off today. What I wanted this year was an OL and a run game.

I'm angry about that call, but we benefited from the same thing against Dallas. The interception was a gift, so what goes around comes around. I can't be mad at this team. Hell of a job battling back in this one. Wish we had been able to pull out the W. Jared Goff is a completely different QB this year. In the past, he would have struggled to overcome the issues the Bills were causing. Today, he bounced right back and picked them apart in the second half. This OL can run the ball, and Henderson's explosiveness is hard to contain.

We have a really good squad, boys. Now, we just need Staley to put the pressure on like he was in the second half more consistently and for our safeties to stop making stupid decisions in zone coverage in the middle of the field.

We gotta hope Sloman gets his rookie nerves out of his system quick too Jerry.

Tell you what, McVay not adjusting earlier to the screens being taken away was weak. But not as bad as the SB when he only tried something different at the end.
And Sampson whiffing at short dump offs is starting to piss me off. Its like he is trying to miss, break down and get your guy down for a couple of YAK yards.
Goff showed me a lot today. Never got down, took some shots and delivered the ball on some important 3rd downs today.

Been saying that since HIS defense got fucked in the ass in the Super Bowl. And since, while he blames everyone but himself.

Hills tackling was atrocious, coverage on the backend with JJ and Rapp was horrible. Jordan Fuller is our best safety.

LBs got exposed all day, Kaiser and Young cannot cover at an NFL level.

Our OLB are overrated. Floyd with an occasional good pass rush but no where to be seen in the run game. And we have a complete hole on the other side. Ebukam or Obo aren't NFL level starters.

We're a pretty good team with a great offense, but too many holes on D to be a legit playoff contender I think.

Apparently it's not holding when you're double/triple teaming someone because, in theory, they should be held in check with that many bodies to guard them. That's really the only way I can try to explain to myself why teams get away with holding Donald so much.

Leaving the middle wide open on two 3rd & long situations how we don't prepare for Allen to go over the middle on the second one is just pathetic. Every fan at home could have seen that coming but our coaching staff and players playing at a professional level can't? Plain and simply pitiful.
