The best I could come up with is that it is something losers do.
it was almost like something Captain Kneecaps came up with because someone dared call his team a bunch of nose pickers...I saw 14- St Brown, 0- Gibbs and 1- Jamison all do it early on...it was weird.....like the were picking their nose and flicking boogers....
but LOSERS for sure....

I'm disappointed that McVay sent DA on a Go route when he knew that DA had a tender hammy.
I'm assuming that's what happened here.
I agree. You've got Tutu there with his speed and Devontea with a bad wheel. Why go deep with him? Maybe it was a Stafford/Adam's thing as someone mentioned earlier. Great game though. These Rams are for real!

I took it as put the key in your mouth and lock it, like quiet or I am not taking. did all 3 have their mouths covered? I think it was Ra or Williams that did but didn't notice all 3

I’m not going to parse the Adams injury but he is WR1 or WR1A on this team and I don’t have a problem with how he’s used.

I expect him on the field.

He and Puka have been seeing limited snaps with the three TE sets over the last few weeks anyway.

How was it desperation. Seems to me they had a plan and projected he could help then implement it.

Getting a retired safety to fill in for a depleated DB room for the playoffs is desperation.
Desperation because Higbeast was injured and wouldn't be able to play for a while into the season.

And he didn't live up to his pay scale until this year.

But now he's doing really well.

not going to jinx it

but Mevis is doing great

They dried up because they couldn't run all day and we got pressure on 67% of Goff's dropbacks in the 2nd half.
Beating Detroit with all their weapons requires winning in the trenches. Rams got it done. :thumbsup1:

I strongly dislike Detroit and their shit ass team.
Hear me out. The playoffs are checked off.

I want to win the division, however-with the way Stafford is distributing the ball and the way 13 personnel is operating, I think it might be a good idea to shut him down til the playoffs. He came here to win a ring, it would be shitty if injured it further and missed the rest of the season.
Fear decision making sucks. We could have him come back in the playoffs, look like shit, and we get eliminated. So fuck that plan.

I’d rather sit Adam’s and let him get 100% healed for the playoffs. Even if it means risking the 1 seed and/or division. The playoffs are a grind if you want to win the SB and we must have Adam’s fully healthy.

I also believe we can win Thursday without him. Likely will be wet and the run game will be most important.

I could see McVay doing that. But I'd prefer we keep him in game shape and rolling and building more reps with Stafford as long as he's healthy enough to go.

But yeah hammys suck. Still have trauma from that BS with that "so-called Superstar." :laugh3:

Well, that early Stafford was pretty much a 14 point swing. At least a 10 point one. If we had just scored a TD there we get 7 more and the Lions don't get that first TD.
The game would not have been nearly as close.
In watching the replay of that int Staffords head was not directly looking at the intended receiver. Almost looking behind him where no one was.
Not the best moment to do anything 'no look" IMO.
Generally I do not like screens anyway, fades all that much either. But I like them when they work !
I dig deep ins, curls/comebacks, slants, back shoulders and over the top stuff.
McVay had me yelling at the TV a few times getting cute inside the 10 yard line. IMO you should always run it down there on 1st down. You might score, should get 3-5 yards and make 2nd and 3rd down a lot easier.
Great win any way you look at it. Defense FINALLY turned up the heat in the 2nd half and Goff did not look like a All Pro. Give him time and he can tear you up.
We have a very well coached team. Its so freaking nice to have a great play and not worry so much about getting a penalty. These guys are a fine working machine.
