I thought it was more of a Stafford compliment.
It implied that Goff would not be good enough to win that game.

I am just tired of people taking a shot at Goff even when they probably didn't even mean to.

He is no longer a Ram and everyone needs to just let him go - I need to as well especially with Blythe lol

Let it go my friend. I say this not being able to let go of Gurley until his dumb tweets…

I'm almost postive 39-0 is the record for this.

Kyle Brandt of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football highlighted this statistic late last year, and the show placed McVay along some illustrious company. According to Good Morning Football, here are some notable records for head coaches when leading at halftime through 64 career games:

Don Shula 34-4-2

Bill Belichick 25-9

Bill Walsh 21-14

Chuck Noll 19-10.

Not career totals, looks to be just early in their career numbers. So yeah looks like McVay is setting the standard....(which is the standard). Don't lose your lead.

It looked in danger today but great win vs adversity!!! Gotta get battle tested....

Stafford is good. I'll leave it at that.

Great win... The Rams homers on this board need to take a step back.

This team has a lot of work to do.

As I stated the other day (playing 0-1 teams is like skinny dipping in the Everglades).

@Loyal acted like this was the 1999 Rams and all but told me I was smoking crack. He predicted a blow out.

Sir... Do you count yourself amongst the RAMS Homer's??? If not.....you are on the wrong forum and CERTAINLY the wrong thread. Enjoy every WIN BRO!!!

The way things change week to week, I don't look at a good game or a bad game as a sign of things to come. Not this early in the season. They looked extremely good last week. Today they looked beatable. Next week it could be either one. That is how things go in the NFL. Last week the Saints looked like a legit upper tier juggernaut. Today they looked more like a bottom feeder. Chances are they're somewhere in between.

The important thing is, we're 2-0. These games count the same as the ones in December. A lot of teams are still feeling their way through the early season. Starting 2-0 could be big at the end when they're feeling like they're hitting their stride.

All teams have ugly games. But I will take an ugly win any day over a well played loss.

Morris showed something interesting. He can tighten it down when he wants. Why he doesn't do it more often is a head-scratcher. How did he force that 3rd qtr punt by the Colts? By tightening things up, i.e. playing more guys in the box. When they did they stuffed the run.

IMO Morris' willingness to concede FGs even when the opposition is still on their side of the 50 makes no sense to me. Staley got away with it because he played his zone scheme as aggressively as I've ever seen zones played. Morris' version is nowhere near as aggressive as Staley's. His bend not break almost cost a game. He needs to stop this nonsense. Everyone can see Morris is inviting the run, but not playing his zone aggressively enough to limit the damage. His conservative approach will cost games against balanced offenses. He has the players not to be so conservative.

C'mon Morris, turn your dogs loose from the game's KO. If you don't, the Rams will get beat by Tampa unless Stafford can simply outscore Brady & company. The Rams have the talent to dominate the Bucs if used in that way.
