Now, I do agree not playing isn't everything as far as making the team, but I think that would relate more to a vet. A vet, where there is plenty of tape on him, like Reeder or JJ3..., might not want to play since an injury in a preseason game could literally end not only there chances of playing this year, but maybe end there chances for the rest of their career.

So they may have been asked if they want to play as I would expect any vets like that, would be told by now that they likley won't be back.

I think he is playing because he and Evans are RB4 and McVay is still deciding which one to keep

I think those 2 RBs are playing for the #4 job or they are only keeping 3 and will add one of them or someone else to the PS.

Thing with a McVay team, if you're a player who thinks you have a good shot to make the team but not 100 percent sure, sitting the final preseason game pretty much cements you made it.
