Can someone explain to me how in the hell they didn't give us a first down on Gurley's 2nd run. He landed square on the first down line and while it's not official it certainly would be a half yard at the most and all of a sudden we're almost 2 yards short How?

I hate to be "that guy" but his butt hit the ground basically where the ball was spotted. Granted the ball should have been spotted a yard ahead, but I think he was still short.

I agree that he was short, but the ball was forward of the spot they gave us. And if there was a question, it should have been initiated from up above (under 2 minutes...) but didn't even question it. Some days you almost have to question if there is bias... I know, there shouldn't be....but that was pretty blatant.

Was he the one getting mugged on Lockett's long catch in the fourth? Of course there was no flag so they didn't show the replay of that part of the play.
I think so. They always show us the video from behind our guys. If they give us the QB view........there wouldn't be any question.

Yep. Donald had ripped under him, and the OL had one hand on his back holding his jersey and one arm wrapped around his neck. That's ridiculous. Imagine if our DB had done that. Peters got flagged for grabbing a guy's waist (after the Seattle DB did the same thing on the Goff interception).

We were the fifth ranked run defense coming into the week in yards per game. Hopefully, it was just an anomaly. Brockers had the worst game I've ever seen from him.
I think the problem is the personnel it this defense are better suited to a 4-3 defense. I think Wade Phillips needs to come to that conclusion and change it up!!!

I have NFL Game Pass and I'm going to look at every running play Seattle had and see where the breakdowns are. Despite the bad officiating I don't think the Rams adjusted well at all defensively.
