I think I'm okay... lol...

My friends agreed to not wear any 9ers or Lions paraphernalia when they come over tonight. My brother and sister are coming over, so that will make it four Rams fans versus two niner fans and one Lions fan (his wife is a Patriots fan) and I told her she can wear her Brady jersey.
Make the Cheats fan watch in another room.
Isolate the leper from the rest of ya.

How many "big games" does this make on the season?

Opening day.
At Philly in week 3.
vs the hot 3-0 Colts in week 4.
Niner week.
Two trips East, one to London.
Niner week again.
The 7-2 Seahawks
The desperate Bucs
The desperate Lions
The Seahawks again.

Geez. A big game practically every week! Who'd a thunk it? Just out of curiosity, does any Ram fan doubt the Rams?

Is anybody else almost vomiting with anxiety this early in the day?

I think I'm more nervous than before the Philly playoff game in January.

This is a huge statement game with a lot on the line.

Fortunately for us, this Rams team is mentally tough.

I like us for it, but there are a lot of banana skins, potholes, and mouse traps in our way.

Let's go.!
That is a great way to put it. I know my team is the best on the field and I think they should win, but the football bounces funny and even the better team gets beat.

The weather added to the mix could really foul things up, but the Rams are built to win in multiple ways and a pound it out slobber knocker is one of them.

It is officially game day at the BigRamFan house!

for those not in wet climates, .08 is not a lot of rain
I was stationed at NAS Whidbey Is. from 1976 to 1980 when I was in the navy. Whidbey is NW of Seattle in the Puget Sound. I stayed in the Seattle area till 84. A high percentage of the rainy weather is more of the misty light rain that turns into little needles hitting your face when accompanied by the wind. Which it almost always is. It is quite annoying and keeps things very wet and slippery but, the Rams are very familiar with it and should handle it just fine.

I’ll validate that anxiety but I was actually more nervous against the Lions because of their offense.

I wonder what McVay’’s Record is on short weeks? I have a feeling it’s really good.

Stafford is 6-0 as a starter against the Seashits with the Rams.

Saddle up!

Eleven games vs. .500 or better teams, fixing to be 12.

Rams are 8-3

No others are close.

Can’t think of a better team to ace that schedule.

McVay is 8-3 on TNF. 5-2 with Stafford.
Against division opponents he's 3-2
Against teams with winning records he's 1-2.
Against Seattle he's 1-1
Against Darnold he's 1-0
After week 13, he's 4-0

Short week coming off MNF, McVay is 7-3
Short week playing on Saturday following a Sunday game (including postseason), McVay is 0-2

Interestingly, in 2019 and 2020 we played 3 games following a MNF game vs teams who were coming off a bye (1-2).

So, short weeks (all) McVay is 15-6, 15-8 counting Saturday and postseason Saturday games.

None of that matters.
What's McVay's record vs division teams tied with the Rams on short weeks in December? We're gonna find out!!!!!

My anxiety is for the game to begin. I want to see a shot of McVay on the sidelines and see the first series whether the Ram O' or D', so I get a feel for the game. I remember the bad start against the Lions when Stafford got picked. That got me hyper but the Rams settled down.

*It's wet...BALL SECURITY is a BIG DEAL!!!

*We know it's gonna be loud so the Rams need to have it together communicating over the crowd noise.

* Make use of the RBs out of the backfield and mainly attack in a variety of ways...KEEP THAT SEATTLE DEFENSE OFF BALANCE.

*If a Rams TO does happen...DON'T GET TIMID. KEEP PLAYING RAM BALL!!!

I'm still feeling a Rams win.

Rams 30 Seahags 20

BE RAMBUNCTIOUS!!!

While we all get fired up watching the game, please remember our core principles; we always show respect for our team and each other.

Despite the emotional highs and lows watching a game, we will moderate this thread with that in mind, however please refrain from name calling. This applies to players, the Rams organization, and each other.

This is the core rule of the GDT. Moderators are tasked to issue thread bans, at a minimum, to maintain this standard.

I'm so stressed out about tonight's game. Think it's gonna be hell tonight...

I have a request, for just this one game.

Can we waive the game day rules, do all the name calling needed? Degrade the players, insult the Rams organization, and say nasty shit to each other, without the threat of being banned? Please Mother Fucker!
