Dallas preseason game where the fans were saying Spruuuuuuuce but other than that - I agree - he sucks

I never liked the pick and I haven't been very impressed with him other than that Dallas game.

I am not challenging the pick. But I am just not impressed with him as option #2 for QB.

Guys the preseason is no indication at all how the season will go, dont fret over this trash. Especially preseason week 1 or 4 lol.

What really concerns me is how the fuck is Mannion still on this roster? He is a trashhhhhh backup and hasn't flashed anything in 4 years, not sure why he gets so much love on this board. We need to develop one of the young guys or look to draft something next year. If Goff goes down the season is over anyway. I dont think McVay is comfortable with the backup QBs at all.

If this is what he's bringing, I really hope one of the other 2 QBs really steps up.

I just don't think he's hanging around collecting a paycheck. That's far different than just not being good enough.

That said, I would bet real money that Mannion's poor performance was much more a function of the baby....

I could see your point if we're talking Goff or something. Locked in as franchise QB. Up all night with a new baby. I'd get it.

But a guy who hasn't had a chance to prove himself getting a shot at a whole half of football to strut his stuff? Put something on tape that might make some GM want to make him a #1 since he won't see that here?

I would think he'd play BETTER thinking through his responsibilities to put food on the table for his family.
