This game is a must win for the Rams if we want to contend for the NFC West and stay in contention for a higher playoff seed. I highly doubt this game will be a cakewalk, even if Jackson doesn't play. It seems like that's just how it is. Not sure of the Rams play to the level of the opponent but it's time to start getting off to better starts to help the defense.

RATBOY - exposed The Rams. There in the drivers seat & have such a easy schedule.Plus they have beaten every team in the NFC West.

SO even if tied they’ll most likely win the division. Then you look around the NFC,and this Seahags game is huge. The Rams play the Jags in London next week. That is 3 out of 4 weeks they have played NFC West teams & the only team to have beaten your favorite.

Lamar no practice today (Thursday)

Looks like it’s stop that backup QB PT2
From a RamsWire tweet. Ravens have a bye after our game.

“Let's keep in mind the Ravens have a bye after this week, so if Jackson doesn't play this week he would get two weeks of rest to rest that ailing hamstring. And it certainly seems like that seems to be the way it is tracking right now."

On the flipside if the ravens lose this game, they have to likely go 9-2 to make the playoffs. It’s do or die for them.

I think Jackson plays. The other way to look at it is he plays this week then has a week to rest. Expect Jackson to start. This isn't a must win for the Rams.

The Texans put up 40+ on Baltimore. Obviously the Ravens might have had a bad game but they haven't looked good at all this year. So there's no reason why the rams shouldn't dominate. If the Ravens hang w the rams we have a problem
It is never good to play any team after a butt whipping like they took. It didn't work out for the rams last week after the whiner's got their ass kicked and if the Ravens have any pride at all, it will be a tough game for our Rams even with Jackson out.

I think the conditions are going to be extremely wet and sloppy and this game will come down to who turns the ball over less. Get ready for about 37 carries from Derrick Henry.

A sloppy field might make them hold him out. More chance to reinjure himself.

That's how I see it. If he aggravates the hamstring injury, it could put him out for the year. They keep him out, then a bye week, he should be good to go week 8.
A loss wouldnt be great but with the division they are in, 3 more games vs hapless Cinn/Cle and 2 vs Pittsburgh, they wouldnt be out of it even at 1-5.
Heck, I'd love to see Jackson in a game where he cant use his legs

I don’t think LJ plays. Bye week pending, Harbaugh isn’t on the hot seat, it isn’t even a conference gm.

Think it was reported he was absent from practice again today. That is nearly a guarantee that players are out when they miss Friday practice. I don't see any way he plays Sunday, particularly with the sloppy conditions expected.

Throwing the ball won't be a big part of the game plan on Sunday. Gonna be a tighten up the chin strap for some smash mouth football kind of day.
