The first game of the season always makes me nervous. Crazy crap happens. I can see our offense struggling at first and Derek Carr can be frustrating to defend. But at the same time, that team has issues. People forget we started out slow against Indy last year. 10-3 after the 1st quarter and should have been 10-7.

Rams win 38-13
Same here.
Last year, even after the game, I kept thinking "Is Indy really that bad, or are we going to be good?"

Since I’m a homer and gave up my fairness card at the door....That Brisset was better than Luck at that moment in the year, so we beat the best they had!

The Colts sucked that day on offense, defense, and ST's. They were outcoached, outplayed, and humiliated 46-9. Brisset was 2 for 3 for 51 yds with 0 td's. They should have kept handing it off to Frank Gore who was averaging over 4 yds a carry.

Have to think Rams will put a whoppin on the Raiders. I tried no to be overconfident last year. The Redskins game had me concerned after beating a poor Colts team. All in all on paper the Raiders can't stack up against the Rams. It could be a blow out 30 something to 6.

They were just awed by our awesomeness!

At this rate the Raiders are going to be on Hard Knocks next year.

Just put $300 on Rams -3.5

I bet the Raiders locker room is shook right now. Watching their best player earn a mega contract but not get rewarded, has to be the most deflating feeling for a team. Some have to be questioning Gruden's leadership thus far.

Meanwhile the rams retained their all-world defender, and our locker room is united. I still would have bet if it was -7, we're gonna smash these dudes.

How the F is it only -3.5?

I can’t gamble, but that screams “bet the house”.

Probably why I can’t gamble...

No HEIS! Don't settle for less, this is the dream season!
I expect to see the offense start the game a little rusty. Hopefully, they'll be clicking in the second half.

And sure, I'd love to see the Rams blow the Raiders out of their own house.

LOL I have no idea, it opened at -1.5 but I'm assuming by next week it will creep to -5 or -6 with the Mack trade today.

Last time the Rams played the Raiders, Nov 30 2014--- Rams 52 - Raiders 0 :deadhorse:

I smell another beat down
Not to be critical of anyone, but I don't like predictions of a blowout. Not because it may not happen-- it might-- but because it smacks too much of both overconfidence and underestimation of an opponent. Also, at least to me, it limits enjoyment of seeing the actual game unfold.

For the record, I expect the Rams to have a great year but I want to enjoy it one play and series and quarter at a time, whatever happens, and not be disappointed if we don't win any particular game by 30.

Not me. I'd be happy as a pig in slop if the Rams won every game by3 30 or more. Nothing more I

enjoy than watching the Rams knock the snot out of opponents.:boxing:
