This is an NFL game so expecting a blowout seems unrealistic. Early east coast game. I wouldn't be surprised to see us come out a little sleepy in the first half, then have to rally to win on the road.
I hope the team doesn’t come out over confident but I think we roll the Panthers.

So...I think I have a feel for this game...and this is what I see:

*The Panthers are gonna run quite a bit because they'll want to keep the Rams offense of the field.

* The Rams defense needs to tackle well and contain Young, who will be a running threat.

* Naturally ball security is a big deal...Rams need zero TOs offensively.

*The Ram offense need to be smooth and clicking, while the defense needs to be "run first" oriented.

*Weather is predicted to be about 49 with rain possible.

I'm liking the Rams 27-13...:fistbump1:

Rams are a much better team than the Panthers. They may do their usual play down to the opponent bullshit. Never know. But if the Rams show up ready to roll with good protections and the good version of Stafford they should dunk these bastids.

Every year the Rams play a team like the Panthers and lose. Do I dare bring up the Jets game from awhile back or the Dolphins..........the 49er game this year? Teams with nothing to lose and have massive injuries tend to play with heart. It's also a home game for them and the Panthers have been super up and down all year. One game they get blown out and then win the next by 20.

As others have said here............play hard ball with them, get the running game up this game and hammer them early.

I personally hate it when the Rams are so heavily favored in a game. We are notorious for playing down to bad teams.

I tend to agree, but I get the feeling that the last thing the Rams want is a winter playoff game in PHI, CHI or Green Bay.

With all of the Panthers injuries and the suspension to Moehrig, it would be very disappointing if we lost. Yes, I know the Panthers are a tough out this year, but with all of the advantages we have, it would be a disappointment if we lost to that team.

Plus, I want eternal revenge for 2003.

Last year it was the damn 3-6 Dolphins. Can't believe we can never beat those guys... 0-3 since 2016.

BTW that was the Karty 2 53+ yarders game.

Biggest threat to the Rams these days is overconfidence.

Rams are legit this year, a well coached team with tons of talent and no obvious weaknesses.

It's gotta be hard to bring your "A" game every single week, consistently. Especially against a team weakened by injuries.

Here's hoping McVay gets them in the right mindset from the jump.
