Tomorrow’s game can be inconsequential if the Rams go 9-0 after the break. All 9 remaining games are NFC games. The Rams may only have two losses right now, but they’re the two games that hurt them the most from the 1rst half.

As for the fucking 49ers, that rematch in Santa Clara is currently the most important game on the schedule. Tie breakers matter when the season winds down. It’s not just about the record.

Wins count too, though, and making a statement tomorrow by putting a beatdown on jax while showing we can play four qtrs of solid football is a good way to wrap up the 1rst half.

They simply don’t trust Hunter in pass protection that is why Rivers will be the backup.
Yuck. Think its a coaching problem if you haven't gotten your fairly highly drafted RB up to speed on the protections by week 7, especially when that rookie outweighs him by like 20lbs and is arguably the most athletic RB we have.

lol......

Its SOP for the Rams to rarely play rookies unless injuries force it and at RB they will not play them unless they have a solid understanding.

I'm looking at this game to be a true statement in that without Puka, I see 3 guys that have to show up big. They are Tutu, Higbeaast, and Whittington!!!

I think the Jags are gonna try and take Adams out of the equation...so McVay has to go to those guys to keep the Jag defense honest, as well as lean on Williams and Corum in the run game. Most of all Ram turnovers cannot be...TAKE CARE OF THE BALL!!!

The Ram defense has to be on point tomorrow!!! Tackle well and bring the pressure...and don't let Lawrence escape the pocket!!!

This game is gonna be tough....both teams 4-2 and wanting to make a statement!!!

I like the Rams 27-20 with the Jags making a late charge but coming up short.

Yeah I’m tired of it too. Meanwhile on the defensive side of the McVay rookie rules, if you can play, you get to play. There have been exceptions but, this sure seems to be the case.

The Rams had to get faster, more explosive and dynamic on O this year. The Rams knew it. We’re 1/3rd into the season and….Tutu has 4 catches, Fergs is still the #4 and the Rams bring up Rivers at the first sign of injuries in the room.

I like Rivers btw, nice vet backup but he’s just another plodder on a team full of em.

Well hopefully we are wrong and he is just there as 3rd string. Also, really think Ferg gets some targets this week since we don't have Puka

I think Allen will have a big role in this game. Higs and Allen combine for 10 catches and 2 tuddies.

The offense is going to feel Puka's loss. None of these guys are anywhere near his caliber across the middle. Adams has alligator arms in that regard. Tutu has small catch radius and can get killed under the safeties. Whit is quick but lacks the physicality like the other two.

Basically in this game we are relying on the TEs to show up big. And by big I mean execution when required to move the chains. They have done it time to time but in that small group of plays where we need it they're going to need to deliver, because that is precisely what Nacua provides.

I'm ready for a lot of punts and a low scoring game with limited opportunities on offense. And hope I'm wrong there.

College RB’s struggle in this area & it’s one of the reasons they like Williams so much. It might be different if the Rams had a QB that could move in the pocket, but they don’t and hopefully Hunter will improve, but this is one of the reasons they kept Rivers on the PS.
