I understand that. What these players did in games is 95% of the evaluation. The biggest takeaway from the combine is medicals and interviews.
Didn't realize that was a thing I know in baseball it is frowned upon and thought it was that way in all sports. Now watching Aaron Boone devour sunflower seeds in the dugout is disgusting too. How about you just coach and manage without anything in your mouth including a wad of gum Pete Carroll!Tabacco is a bigger thing in football than is EVER talked about!
There is NO reporter who is going to call them out on it either.
Those secrets are more classified than ,well all joking aside as we know..
No one chews gum like Les Snead.....how often on tv during a game does he have gum hanging out of his mouth.Didn't realize that was a thing I know in baseball it is frowned upon and thought it was that way in all sports. Agreed, too many people make a big deal out of these measurables.I understand that.
It just always cracks me up with people using throwing distance as a measure of meaningful arm strength....like 40 times being an end all.
My son could throw a football 60+ yards when he was in high school....no one was begging him to play QB.
It reminds me of people going crazy because Kyle Boller threw the ball 70 yards or whatever from his knees....
He always chewing a piece of plaste tooNo one chews gum like Les Snead.....how often on tv during a game does he have gum hanging out of his mouth.
Its strange.
Snead is a strange cat but he’s our strange cat.He always chewing a piece of plaste too
"Hey! That was my entire methodology" - Al DavisBumping a bad football player up a few rounds because he runs and jumps fast is idiocy.
Maybe that is what's hanging out of his mouth....He always chewing a piece of plaste too
It is sort of enjoyable watching Jerry Jones now that he is well into his "Al Davis" phase."Hey! That was my entire methodology" - Al Davis
Boller played here locally, had a cannon for sure but as you infer it didn't make him a quality QB. Arm strength is 1 of the many factors and a plus to the point of making all the pro level throws. That Spencer dude in the tweet or whatever it is was just looking for clicks.I understand that.

That is why I prefer mints over gum, mints dissolve. No one chews gum like Les Snead.....how often on tv during a game does he have gum hanging out of his mouth.

All of us understand that Les is More.Snead is a strange cat but he’s our strange cat.
Jaxson Duck ?That throw looked a bit like a duck to be honest.
All of understand that Les is More.Snead is a strange cat but he’s our strange cat.
Jaxson Dart, always the Duck, Duck, Never the Goose.Jaxson Duck ?

Sure, but during interviews?? Especially from a Star QB ?? Seeing a workout for possibly The Number 1 pick in the NFL & a dude is chewing & spitting during the session IMO is WEAK.Didn't realize that was a thing I know in baseball it is frowned upon and thought it was that way in all sports.
