McVay/Philips getting, once again, getting thoroughly out-coached. This time by one of the most poorly coached teams in football.

Yeah, other than the fact Dallas ended up getting a TD on that drive instead of us having the ball in plus territory.

Yep - pass protection is good, but McVay cant scheme a short and/or delayed passing game.

Run defense is shit
Run offense is shit
Tackling is shit

Cowboys don't even need to throw the ball

Problem is going to be that we're going to be in one of the toughest divisions in football for some time, barring some injury to Hags or Whiners QB. With the Whiners, and their running game and D, that might not even matter.

We have some serious concerns still on O line (center and LT especially, if Whit retires). This D, too has some holes - other than Donald the D line is mediocre at best, we need at least two more dominant lbs, and our secondary depth needs work, assuming that this is all we're getting out of Weddle and Christian.

With the cap and no #1s, it's going to be a challenge to stay at this level, and sadly, we're going to have to improve to be in contention.

9-7 may be better but not a good look for last years Super Bowl team - no playoffs. And like all the negatives you mentioned, 9-7 will turn into a 6-10 in no time.
