Lol. Dude, it wasn't intended to cause a stir, or be dramatic. But as someone who has watched every game for the last 15 years, I've noticed a trend with McVay, particularly this year, where he's calling WR screens on 3rd and long plays. Last year, we'd take a deep shot, and have a good chance of converting. The comment was simply illustrating this. Whether you believe the above or not is entirely up to you, it's simply my observation that I felt was a sentiment a lot of people shared.
