Unless you have an absolutely dominant offensive line, even mediocre NFL defenses can take away the run if they want. Teams just aren't scared at all at our ability to throw the football. If teams are loading up against the run on every single down, and you can't make them pay through the air, your offense is going to suck.

Rams can't run because of a stacked box or just plain poor OL play, they are afraid to pass because we have an inaccurate QB and receivers dropping balls, ... that and Fisher runs a conservative offense. Something has to give, and i'm afraid Goff is the only person available who might be capable of opening things up.
