Well that's one of the things I'd been interested in watching. Wade is a 3-4 guy who is taking over a 4-3 defense. So you don't necessarily have all the personnel who are suited for his D. While yes he said his 3-4 D is more like a 4-3 personnel wise he's going to have some holes in there that he has to cover-up with play calling and scheme. So now and then I would expect to see these break-downs in D due a smart OC recognizing this.

So after roughly two and a half games:

+Hekker is awesome
+Goff looking better (still some issues, but c'mon, much better than last year)
+Offensive line improved
+Receiving corps now solid overall

-Defense either regressed or not mastering 3-4 early
-Secondary depth a big issue
-Dumb mistakes still an issue
-We're going to make easy games hard, which playoff teams don't do

Only gave up 7 to the Redskins after halftime. I think our defense will play much better after we make the adjustments. Also keep in mind that stupid penalties and Austin has helped the 49ers out tremendously.
