That is going to be one of the toughest defenses we face all season. I was not surprised at it being a slugfest. I thought our pass rush would have been better though with as many injuries they had but they were not having Stroud hold the ball long much. Overall, any win in week 1 is great no matter how you get it. Rust has been shaken off. Hopefully Dotson is a short term issue because Limmer was struggling.

Hotanez Chargers are tangible proof of this. There team came out blazing defeating the Chiefs. They played their starters pre-season.
yeah but the moment a starter goes down you'll be bitching about why he was playing in preseason. Maybe the issue today was the Rams were playing against an excellent defense. Also Stafford was injured so no preseason for him anyways.

Me? Per say? I don’t think I have ever bitched about that. In fact I have always been an advocate about allowing starters to get play in the pre season. It helps.

Texans are tough defensively but they’re not the 85 Bears. Rams were healthy at home with plenty of time to prepare.

14 points scored is disappointing and a familiar output the last few seasons. Need much more. McVay+Stafford+these weapons should be better.

Defense is gonna be NASTY this year. It bends but ultimately seems to bail out the sluggish offense.

Rams dug out a win. Nacua is a beast.
1-0 is good.

Take a win no matter how ugly.

Stafford over 60,000 yards and looked mostly good to me. He could have used dome help from Adams early.

Puka came back no concussion after cheap shot head hunters took their shots. Great catch and run to seal it.

D looks good. Great plays by Durrant and Landman.

Go RAMS!! B

Couldn’t disagree more. Stafford didn’t see any live bullets in training camp and has really only had a few weeks of practice. There were points left on the board, but that defense is going to be a top 5 unit this season. They have arguably the best pass rushing/secondary combo in the league.
