I edited that comment. I forgot about Shelton for a second and thought it was Dedich at the time.Shelton got hurt too?
Yeah, I brain cramped... I forgot all about Shelton and assumed #65 was Dedich. In fact Dedich wasn't even active.that's what I thought so Dedich didn't come in at center
It wasn't a screen. Parkinson was an outlet. The play looked to be designed to go to Whittington, who was trying to slip into the flat. But the Texans defender wrapped him up and refused to let him leak out. Somehow, the same refs who terrorized us with ticky tack defensive holding calls decided that didn't suffice.Landman saved Parkinson's & McVay's ass because that was a bad play call. Throwing that inside screen in traffic like that when you are running the ball? Worse case you go up 8 with probably under 2 min left if you eventually settle for a FG.
I will make my point. Just because your in doesn’t exempt you from being in the grind with the newbies. Ie. Pre season. Pre season is training. Training for these athletes should be non stop especially for what they get paid…Don’t talk about risk.we just beat a very good team cold, there's no reason to risk your starters in the pre season lol.
