Perez did not look great in this seasons USFL. Maybe he will "play up" to the NFL level.

IMO Perez has never looked good. He is the Jeremiah Kolone of QB’s.

Not that it means much being the USFL but Perez led what me and my uncle decided was our team, The NJ Generals to the championship game.

He looked pretty good during the season going 124 out of 173 for a 71.3 comp%, 1200 yards, 6.9 avg yards per attempt 9TD’s to 1 INT and a 105.6 QBR.

I’m curious to see how he does with us again and will be rooting for him to dethrone Perkins as our 3rd QB.

I will say this, he looked 100% different than I remembered him with us on his first stint.

Coach you of all people should appreciate coaching? How many more years of Kolone?

If you can’t see how Mcvay & Les Snead work then that is on you,but continuity and knowledge of the ram system added with mentoring as well good character with hard work is something much appreciated.

Joking is all fun & games,but year in & year out the trust in players(people) is what works best.

So to answer the question it could honestly be the rest of Mcvay’s career as a Rams coach.To think what Luis Perez brings to the QB room could be knowledge with coaching ability who transitions into the staff.

Kevin O’Connell just became the Vikings HC & he was a QB in Detroit with Matthew Stafford which he jokes that Kevin is a better coach than a player.

Rumor is is that she is going to sing opening day of 2022 at SOFI for the preseason.That way it can’t get any worse.

I don't like Kolone either, but I liked him better then Jamil Demby so I was in favor of that move. As to Perez, I'm sure he's an affable fellow, fluent in Spanish so that helps and is a willing participant, but he's been in a few leagues since his first stint with the Los Angeles Rams and although his stats were decent in the USFL, they went with D'Andre Johnson most of the time.

I was just hoping for somebody else that's all, I wish him well.

What happens to Wolford & Perkins ?
There is only so many footballs to be thrown.It’s easier to cut Perez.He just helps out early in camp so Stafford only gets the live reps.
