From what I’ve read around here it doesn’t matter because we don’t have good defensive coaches.

Very excited to see our sub rush packages with Obo on the field. We will now have talent that can win their 1 on 1s on any given play.

Can we get Talib back already so we can see the full potential of this defense??

I don't know much about this guy other than his position. Everyone seems quite high on him.

Can I ask what that's based on? Is it more down to the lack of an edge rush as opposed to Oko himself?

Because he was on PUP for Week 1, by rule Okoronkwo had to miss the first six weeks of the year. He was able to practice with a 21-day window that began a couple weeks ago, and has apparently done enough to earn his way onto the active roster.

So he’s been practicing. Should be ready to play.

A little of both. He was a stud in college and ended up dropping to us because of injuries. I had a 2nd round grade on him. He pops off the edge like a cork and has great bending ability. He’s also one scary looking mother fucker. If the Rams give him snaps you’ll notice his presence immediately. Just an impact player.

Thanks Legatron. Let's hope he turns into a difference maker especially with the secondary looking easily exploited

Mostly his college play, physical attributes and potential. To me he looks like he could be the Quinn type DE but 2011-2012 Quinn. Same body structure and fast off the edge.

When @Legatron4 mentioned bending ability, i immediately thought of Quinn.

That version of Quinn was incredible. There was a point where you expected a strip sack on every snap. If Oko can come close to that, it would make a huge difference

Watching some of his game film (not highlights) his effort has me concerned. He flashes with amazing speed on one play and than gets washed out the next 6. Doesn’t seem to have much interest in playing the run consistently. Almost seems like if he knows he’s not gonna have a chance at a sack he doesn’t go 100% and is a bit lazy in chasing down ball carriers ....haven’t watched him a ton but these are just some things that jumped out at me in the limited tape I did watch

I really enjoyed that movie (Easy A).

Also, Emma Stone was amazing on the Tonight Show doing the Lip Sync battle.
Movie was filmed at Nordhoff High in Ojai! Since that film came out, many more celebs buying homes there, most recently, Anne Hathaway.
