Glad to see this pick. The only major struggles that the Rams had as a team under McVay were the seasons where the O line was injury riddled
The tape does not look overly impressive.
Gets pushed back a lot of plays. Doesn't look particularly quick.
He has shorter arms. He will have to play guard.
Maybe we see different things. When he gets beat in pass pro, he pushes the rusher further into the backfield. It’s good technique to counter a speed rush. The tape does not look overly impressive.

I was sooooo expecting it after the first two picks.....I'm just glad we didn't draft a RB....
That needs to be a motivational poster.
Seems to have a good base.Maybe we see different things. When he gets beat in pass pro, he pushes the rusher further into the backfield. It’s good technique to counter a speed rush.
I remember message boards falling in love with Jamon Brown who repeatedly tripped over himself to create pancake blocks. That was not good football.
They do love their versatile lineman.Highest rated tackle by PFF & only gave up one sack last season. Can play all 5 positions along OL.
After watching the new presser, it seems like it’s about having the depth to do what they want.Seems like this draft was not about picking guys who can make them better for the Superbowl run. It's about the future.
They picked a guy they hope will be their franchise quarterback in the post Stafford era.
The 13 personnel was very effective. Parkinson will be a free agent next off-season. Hig bee
might retire. They will need another athletic tight end.
And the lineman they will probably be a starter at some point. But not this year.
All 3 have an eye on the future. It's good they're not sacrificing that future. I expect our team to be a perennial contender for years to come.
Last years draft was for the future as well. The future is now. Fergy will step up and maybe Hunter becomes what we hoped. Also the UDFA LB that got hurt will give Spieghts a run for the position.Seems like this draft was not about picking guys who can make them better for the Superbowl run. It's about the future.
