I realize people are on edge and that this was unexpected, but if you haven't seen Klare play, you should take a bead and watch him. He's a dynamic athlete. Rare quickness and acceleration for his size. He has the potential to be one of the best route runners in the NFL at TE. Runs hard after the catch too. The big issue with Klare is dropped passes. He needs to improve his hands and ball tracking. But the man can create separation. And he's a competent blocker. Huge potential here.

I love his athleticism, definitely love his route tree. Don't love the hands nearly as much. He was around the area from late-second-to-early-third.

It's a headscratcher, especially after just drafting Ferguson last year, and I assume we're trading Parkinson or cutting Allen. I have to assume that because carrying five tight ends makes no sense.
They may keep all 5 for one year. Both Parkinson and Allen are pending free agents.

Looks like 13 personnel is here to stay. Lots of upside and YAC for a TE. Rams have Higbee in his final season and Parkinson and Davis in their final year of their contract.
That makes this make a lot more sense, to me anyway

Not getting this draft so far. Maybe not trading away picks for know commodities is working against Snead and McVay.

I do like Klare, he's a quality threat over the middle. Would have preferred a wideout but that TE room is gonna be a competitive pressure cooker for those boys this year.

I am fine with the pick, a little unexpected with some quality speed/skill players available.
He runs like a WR after the catch even superior to Fergz in that aspect, needs to shore up his hands and focus on the catch.
