I figure Klare's an insulation pick against Puka's off field issues. Just in case, they probably wanted to ensure they had a chain mover for the middle, as that role is what makes this offense go.
And if Ferg had shown more down the stretch maybe that wouldn't have been necessary. But Klare also should push Ferg in camp and that's a good thing as well.
