LOL, nope. Just...nope.

No Jacob Harris? No Chris Garrett? Bobby Evans over Coleman Shelton (our backup center in case, you know - fate forbid - Brian Allen goes down?) Hoecht was all but invisible, and Copeland barely more so. Those two, and Jonah Williams - love the guy, but he got injured and waived - are probably not making the team, and I will pound the drum for Earnest Brown IV to make it over them as a fifth and potentially final defensive lineman. Lewis will be lucky to make the roster, and I would not be the least bit surprised to see him and Rapp dealt along with picks for a solid edge rusher.

You know what, fuck it, here's my prediction, roster and practice squad:

QB - Matthew Stafford, Bryce Perkins.

(Yeah, two quarterbacks. I'm sorry, Wolford, but Perkins brings a dimension that he lacks. And I'm not especially concerned about Stafford either; he's only a top-five quarterback, and one of the toughest SOaBs to play in the modern game.)

RB - Cam Akers, Kyren Williams, Xavier Jones, Raymond Calais.

(My first wildcard. I'm assuming that Darrell Henderson, injury-prone as he is, gets traded. It's his last year on his rookie contract, and there's several teams that need running backs. I'm going with Jones over Funk, given that the latter is prime practice squad material and, in all honestly, I like Jones better than Funk. Calais is for return purposes, in case Powell goes down.)

WR - Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, Odell Beckham Jr., Van Jefferson, Chatarius Atwell, Ben Skowronek, Brandon Powell.

(Cooper Kupp is obvious. Allen "Old Fashioned" Robinson and Van Jefferson? Also obvious. I still predict that OBJ joins the team soonish, leaving Powell and Skowronek on special teams. I may be one of the few Skowronek fans here; he far outplayed his seventh round status, and even Cooper Kupp struggled in his rookie year. We may want to see what both he, Atwell, and Jacob Harris have. Speaking of which...)

TE - Tyler Higbee, Kendall Blanton, Jacob Harris.

(Brycen Hopkins will go to the Jaguars in a trade involving Taylor Rapp, Terrell Lewis, a second round pick in 2023, and a first round pick and third round pick in 2024. Yes, call me insane, whatever you want. Higbee is definitely a top fifteen tight end in this league, if not higher; I just wish he wasn't injured so often. Blanton and Harris should be able to pick up the slack, but even so, we're mostly going to be a four wide/one back team, considering our strengths.)

OL - Joseph Noteboom, David Edwards, Brian Allen, Tremayne Anchrum Jr., Rob Havenstein, Logan Bruss, Coleman Shelton, Alaric Jackson, Max Pircher.

(This offensive line still has a lot of questions. Will Noteboom be able to build on what Whitworth taught him? Will Allen and Edwards stay healthy? What about A-Jax and Anchrum? Who will take the ninth offensive line spot? I think Bruss answers a huge question at right guard, but I won't be surprised to see Anchrum get the first crack at it. As you can clearly see, I have no faith in Bobby Evans. Maybe he surprises me, but I doubt it. I do have faith in Pircher; intelligent and mobile 6'7" offensive linemen who can play as many positions as he can don't grow on trees.)

DL - Aaron Donald, Greg Gaines, A'Shawn Robinson, Bobby Brown III, Earnest Brown IV.

(AD is AD. Greg "Grizzly" Gaines should be re-signed as soon as possible. A'Shawn Robinson is a monster, and we should appreciate having him this year. I expect a huge jump for BB3, and EB4, in my opinion, has just as much - if not more - potential as Copeland.)

EDGE LB - Josh Allen, Leonard Floyd, Justin Hollins, Chris Garrett, Daniel Hardy.

(Yeah, those picks and players I traded earlier? They were for Josh Allen, a fearsome edge rusher for the Jags, who seem to be in perpetual rebuild. You re-sign him, and suddenly, our edge situation looks a lot more fearsome. Not that I don't have faith in Garrett and Hardy as edge rushers, but Allen, Floyd, and Hollins as your top three? Wow.)

ILB - Bobby Wagner, Ernest Jones, Travin Howard, Christian Rozeboom.

(Jones is going to absolutely blossom under Wagner, and I hope to holy fate we re-sign him when he does. Howard re-signing after we waived him was a very pleasant surprise; he's a top special teams player, and he could've started for a good portion of the league. Rozeboom is an underrated special teams player.

CB - Jalen Ramsey, Robert Rochell, David Long Jr., Troy Hill, Decobie Durant, Derion Kendrick.

(Since we're only keeping nine linebackers and five defensive linemen, the majority of the players will - and should - be on the secondary. Jalen Ramsey is Jalen Ramsey. Rochell is going to absolutely blow up in a good way. I think Durant takes the nickel corner spot sooner rather than later, but there's no harm in starting Long, who was actually an underrated force in the playoffs. Hill coming back gives us another option, and Kendrick - if his head's on straight - could be a very pleasant surprise.)

SAF - Jordan Fuller, Nick Scott, Terrell Burgess, Quentin Lake, Russ Yeast

(Fuller and Scott absolutely deserve to start. Burgess seems to be making a push for the final roster, and if Rapp isn't traded, I think he fights against him for the last spot because I trust Lake and Yeast over both of them. Both of the recent draft picks look like they'll be solid players.)

ST - Matt Gay, Brandon Dicker, Matthew Orzech.

(I'm not a betting woman, but if I were, I'd pick Dicker to be our punter. No offense meant to Riley Dixon, but I'd rather go with the younger player with potential. Both Gay and Orzech retain their starting roles - note to McSnead, fucking sign Gay already.)

Practice Squad - Jake Funk, A.J. Rose, Lance McCutcheon, Warren Jackson, Roger Carter, Jamal Pettigrew, A.J. Arcuri, Jack Snyder, Elijah Garcia, Brayden Thomas, Keir Thomas, Benton Whitley, Jake Hummel, Daniel Isom, Caesar Dancy-Williams, Duron Lowe.

(I'm assuming we keep sixteen, as stated in the rules. Each of these players could be good for other teams, so I don't know how well we'll be able to retain them. Funk and Rose are interesting backs. McCutcheon is a solid looking receiver, while W-Jax could be a receiver/tight end hybrid. Pettigrew is a classic blocking tight end who could deliver more, while Carter looks like an H-back. I don't think Arcuri makes the roster; I don't see too much in him. Snyder, on the other hand, could be a lot like Coleman Shelton was: a guard and potential center. Garcia, I'm putting down partially because my aunt is from Rice, and partially because he looks like a solid interior lineman, which we will need. The Thomases look like players, as does Whitley, and Hummel could be a Howard replacement, if necessary, and will compete with Rozeboom. Isom has gotten into trouble in the past, but he's insanely talented as both a corner and a safety. Dancy-Williams looks like the best of our UDFA CBs, and Lowe had a solid career at Liberty.)

So, yeah, feel free to flame or do whatever.

Memento’ I’ll call you insane & say put the crack pipe down.

That said at this point a lot can change.Certain players & coaches will find there way.

IMO - Hopkins,Lewis & HENDO will all have solid productive seasons.

You are too funny...Anyways if we are going with Cameron Dicker I want to see how he holds for Matt Gay in preseason. If Dicker can do a good job in that area plus showcase the big leg punting, then I believe you could be dead on, however, Riley Dixon is not a bad option.

Dixon is an excellent holder, he's held for top kickers in Denver (McManus) & New York (Gano). Dixon is also a former High School QB, so like Hekker does offer that as an option. Look you have no bigger fan in Cameron Dicker then me, I watched the kid as a Freshman beat Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, however, there are other things to factor in the holding is key and is important with Gay coming off a great season so again, we shall see how Dicker handles those duties.

Going by pic alone so file it under irrelevant bullshit assessment:
Daniel Hardy and Xavier Jones look rock solid. Bobby Evans and Raymond Calais look baby soft.

Yeah that photo of Bobby Evans doesn’t make him look good. I think that was over a year ago.
-Preseason should be fun to watch. I’ve always been a Fan.

Perkins ain’t making the 53.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Perkins? I guess that would be the hope?

Perkins is an interesting player. It was funny 2 days ago this guy was yell out to his buddy after Wolford threw a bad pad throwing across his body back towards the middle of the goal line while running at an angle towards sideline.
This Rams fan seemed hate Wolford & thinks Perkins is better than him.The throw was one of those no no no & if caught yes. It was a dangerous pass that could have been one of those 100 yard pick six’s.He threw it short & low though & actually he almost completed it & only the WR could have caught it.

Just an example of peoples opinions that are cheering for the same team.He had a jersey & Ram gear so much respects.

If Perkins doesn’t make the roster? Does he get traded or put on the practice squad?

Then what kind of a preason Will Perkins have & how much playing time does Wolford get ?

Stafford being out gives these guys so much more practice time. What some Ram Fans will or forget(don’t know?) is last training camp Perkins was The Rams 4th QB & we’re on going to keep 2 QB’s.He had a Emergency Appendix Surgery & missed all the preseason.Perkins emerged & A guy like Bobby Evans almost got him killed.(lol)

Perkins make a GREAT practice QB during the season because he can run like a Murray,Lance, or Wilson last season.
He also brings value just as the value of a quality QB alone.

We know Wolford is going to make The Rams by his contract a lone. The fact is that The Reps Perkins is getting because of last season with Wolford & this preseason 2022 is priceless.

Seems pretty evident that at this time as we speak today it is Akers and Henderson as 1 & 2 the only debate right now is how they split touches. I see the touches dropping off considerably after these two barring injuries which is a real concern for both of them.
Harris or Powel is intriguing and Hardy and Garrett is an intriguing conversation either 1 or likely both go to the P.S. T Lewis I don't see going anywhere.

BTW To all The Bobby Evans Haters if my eyesight is correct & I know it ain’t 20/20 it’s 2022 & things have changed.

#71 was playing RT on the 2nd team.

If anyone wants to know from a blind eye & no pads what or who I like?
- my answer is Jack Snyder. I told Bonifay’d he wasn’t going to make the team. He looks like a girl(didn’t say thought) & was weak.
Far from the truth.I don’t know which coach it was,but after practice the 3 of them went out & practiced footwork & power moves. Working angles.

Might seem boring but the coaching going on is GOOD. The 3 60,61 & 64 were working as guards(c?) on inside moves & pulling both sides. It was probably for 10 to 15 minutes. Usually a session before a horn blows & players move to the next drill.
This was basically a nice extra credit drill & then went one tent to sign autographs & then went to the Lockeroom.

Max came out late & he wanted in,but saw the coach was focused & he couldn’t get in. He basically worked in between fields. He stayed & worked on getting out with his first step & plant as a Tackle.Totally different position & drill as well.
The day before the offensive line finished up with similar drills..The center guards have those slide & keep hands inside & GRAB drills.

I see this as more of a different drill & what they are going to ask this group to do this season..

Imo the hand work & power hands is what there ask the inside guys to do.
They want to fight of the D’Tackles or quick lineman. Then use there hands & find leverage? Just trying to understand the reasoning.

They also just like special teams is to get past a player(in front) while changing direction. A little different though.. On special teams The Rams are always trying to work on just being an obstacle making sure heads & shoulders are in front of the defender so they don’t clip beating the defender to the spot.

On offense the lineman are trying to get in front of the defender while pulling or blocking at an angle. The drill is to get off the line feel with your back(off) arm opposite of the direction your going. That way you can shield him with your body & also give separation from the defender in front. In essence to open up a hole by that body space of control & power.Speed (closing) helps as well.

Anyways. I did keep it to what I noticed.AJ Arcuri is looking good &
going to be good.

-Shelton was playing center.Brian Allen got a Veterans Day off. Bruss was the starting RG during the walk thoughs. I sort of call it the Varsity team(group 1)

Whatever I said about Ben Sko I have to totally take back. Tutu Atwell is going to get his,but Ben Sko is getting personal training.

Ben Sko after practice he comes onto the field for about 15 minutes & takes throws from Greg Olsen.

I find this very interesting & I maybe one of the only people that see’s what’s happening & the effect player coach relationships like this work & excel a player.

Saw how Steph Curry has worked with a coach on the Warriors personally since Steve Kerr took over. Last season he sat right next to him during games as before he would sit behind Kerr.

Last season I saw Zac Robinson working with Cooper Kupp.He throws to Kupp after practice personally as well.
I see a copycat type of thing going on here. Bring it to Ram Fan attention.Just something to look for on Sundays?

That is just imo type thing. Won’t say it until after games &
If that is really a thing?

Ben Sko is putting in the work to get better. He has a similar skill set as Kupp & is working with him everyday as well.

The Rams 53 - wow where does one start ?

There is so much talent & depth out there.Sort of unbelievable how The Rams can reload & bring in such young talent.

Last week of training camp & the preseason is here.wanted to go to the Chargers training camp last night but got lazy with GF.The tickets were for the 11th &12th & could only image how crazy it was there with the OC Fair there.Would have been I party night & bailed out.
We will get a look at Staley as a HC compared to last season.I actually like he isn’t afraid to go for it TRUST his team no matter what the down and distance is.His defense has 42 Reeder,56 Fox,69SJD & top it off with 7 Everett. That right there makes me Bi-curious.
Just 6 days away & then the lights come on to see what the back half of the 53 might look like.
