What happened to McDermott? I read some kind of injury designation.
Transactions show the Rams placed OL Conor McDermott on Reserve/Injured.

if Havensstein cannot start against Detroit then the Rams will have no swing tackle since both McClendon and Boom will be in the starting lineup. Either Havensstein starts of they have to add a swing tackle back on the roster. Arcuri might get bumped up from the PS.

I believe Bruss was taking snaps at RT last preseason. Not sure if that’s in play, though.

I was kind of hoping the Rams would not sign Justin Dedich to the Practice Squad. Hoping for Blake Larson.

Got nothing against Dedich ... It's not him ... It's me.

Whenever I see or read his name, I think of 89-year old British actress Judy Dench ...

Better get used to seeing Dedich in horns for while. I think he can develop into a good depth piece and stick around.
When the rams signed Larson as a UDFA I thought he migh be a good developmental LT but it was not mean to be.

Hey, Judy Dench was a very badass M in Daniel Craig's James Bond.

The part that confuses me is that couldn't they have placed McDermott on Reserve/Injured the day before and kept Zac Thomas?

I guess they did so in order create a spot to claim Schrader. Also, in their mind they felt they had enough interior OL so why keep Thomas when he is strictly a OG... We saw what he could do at OT. Yuck!

So, essentially, we chose Schrader over Evans at RB, and Garrimore over Letuligasenoa on the DLine (for the overall roster of players).

We still have an open practice squad spot with Letuligasenoa's release (Gallimore replaced Durden who replaced Letuligasenoa). I hope we use it to its fullest advantage.
