There isnt one terrible team on this schedule besides the whiners. Jaguars were bad last year but they have too much talent to keep sucking and should be on the rise. No easy wins except the 49ers SHOULD be but you never know year to year in the NFL.

To be the best, ya gotta beat the best

I don't see that. Chargers don't play Thursday night until a December.
Previewing the 2017 Thanksgiving Day slate
Jeremy Bergman
NFL.com

The NFL is making history on Thanksgiving this season. After the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys host their annual Turkey Day contests and in between your tryptophan trip and sweet potato plunge, one team will host a Thanksgiving Day game for the first time in its franchise history.

The Washington Redskins will host their NFC East rivals New York Giants in the third game on November 23. The 'Skins are no stranger to Thanksgiving games -- this will be their 10th appearance -- but they often played at Texas Stadium or AT&T Stadium.

Now, Thanksgiving will be good for four things: football, food, family and -- in the case of Odell Beckham Jr. and Josh Norman -- friendly fireworks.

Here's a quick preview of this year's Thanksgivingslate:

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions, 12:30 p.m. ET, FOX

The first divisional game of the day, this will be the Vikings and Lions' second straight Thanksgiving Day tussle and their second meeting of the 2017 season; they first face off in Minneapolis in Week 4. Detroit swept the two-game set last year, best remembered for Golden Taint's game-winning overtime spin-and-score. The clubs have only split their season series twice in the past nine seasons. A Sam Bradford-Matthew Stafford duel might not be the flashiest way to start your holiday Thursday, but it should make some high-stakes display of passing efficiency.

Los Angeles Chargers at Dallas Cowboys, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS

If this matchup appears on face value rather unusual, it is. The transplanted Chargers haven't played on Thanksgiving since the merger in 1970; the Cowboyshaven't played an AFC team on Turkey Day since 2013 when they beat the Raiders, 31-24; and this will be just the 11th meeting between the two teams. Philip Riversvs. Dak Prescott. Melvin Gordon vs. Ezekiel Elliott. Keenan Allen vs. Dez Bryant. Prepare for points.

New York Giants at Washington Redskins, 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC

The night's marquee matchup will rehash one of the league's oldest rivarlies and dive into some intradivisional beef. Last year, the Redskins' playoff bid was thwarted by Big Blue at FedEx Field in Week 17, when Kirk Cousins threw a late pick to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Late in the season and in prime time, Cousins will need to make a statement to overcome last year's demons and prove he's Washington's QB of the future. And then there's OBJ vs. Norman, Episode IV: A New Hope. With more Giants receiving weapons to account for this time around, we might not see as many fireworks from Norman, but you never know.

While I'm not happy about being snubbed on Monday Night.

I like the fact that we'll be playing on a very regular schedule for the most part. All Sundays except for that 1 Thursday Night game.

Outside of Seattle and Houston I really don't see any daunting defenses on this schedule. This should bode well for Goff and crew and hopefully he'll start putting up some numbers and develop some confidence as the year wears on.

I think a lot of his problems last year besides the usual rookie jitters was a lack of confidence in the offense. Of course, that started at the top with Fisher and Boras but also included the woeful O line, the uninspiring play calling and ineffective play makers.

If he can have some success early in the year he and the offense can get on a roll and who knows mebbe even become an asset to this man's football team.
Here's hoping......

.

damn lucky fisher isn't the coach anymore or the rams would have a 0 and 2 start guaranteed.

.

Hope the Jeff Fisher Kryptonite is still intact exclusively when we face the Seacucks

I wonder if Jeff Will show up week 16 to watch the match between us and the Titans in Tenn.? lol Talk about being booed out the stadiuM!

There's definitely a mistake on the schedule. We aren't playing in Seattle week 17.

Only real shot at a cold/bad weather game is week 15 @Seattle. Following week @Titans could be cold but not a snow game.

This is one of the easier and more lenient schedules we have had. The weak AFC South is sorta balanced by the tough NFC East but none of the NFC West opponents are what they used to be. We have potential to eclipse 0.500 for the first time in many years. I'm just hoping we are still playing for something at the latter half of the season for once.
