C'mon y'all. Plenty of crow to feed us all!I am eating crow if I am wrong. You should eat crow if you are wrong.
That's just fair since we are opposite sides of the spectrum.

I was right so it’s already time for you to eat crow my friend. We drafted him!I am eating crow if I am wrong. You should eat crow if you are wrong.

Oh and I hope that I completely wrong and have to eat crow because that will only benefit the Rams.I am eating crow if I am wrong. You should eat crow if you are wrong.

See my post aboveI was right so it’s already time for you to eat crow my friend. We drafted him!
Where you once swam with the tied you appear to be struggling against it
OK, I admit im only teasing but you get it. Let’s get behind the kid and not worry about such nonsense
See my postI guess I don't get why it matters. Most of us will be right and wrong in our opinions over time. Let's just hope he's right and move on. There's almost nothing more boring than "I told you so".
But I will say I am still upset they signed Tutu for $10M when we should have signed a decent CB instead. That kept us from a superbowl imho.See my post
How!? How did signing Tutu keep us from a SB? Even without his contribution, we had the #1 offense. I don't understand this one.But I will say I am still upset they signed Tutu for $10M when we should have signed a decent CB instead. That kept us from a superbowl imho.
I won't be over that for awhile.
Having to hear from Seahawks fans saying over and over - we beat you and won the superbowl because of it just irks me.

CB - we could have signed a decent CB for $10M - $12M instead. How!? How did signing Tutu keep us from a SB? Even without his contribution, we had the #1 offense. I don't understand this one.
Which CB?CB - we could have signed a decent CB for $10M - $12M instead.
I believe the Rams knew it after the season was over that our secondary situation caused us to miss the Superbowl so they went out and got both McDuffie and Watson.
I don't know off the top of my head but IIRC - I believe there were a couple decent CBs (I emphasize decent not great) that were available that would have put us over the top.Which CB?
Mine would have been Bain or a trade down for Cooper and get another 2nd or Third Round pick so we could pick up a coverage linebacker for 3rd down and 5 or longer. There were a few that looked fairly decent. While silly, it seems to me that a crow eating contest would make more sense if an alternative option is also compared.
That being the player those opposed to the Simpson selection believed the Rams should have selected instead.
Then again success or failure elsewhere doesn't necessarily mean the same results with the Rams.
Oh well.
But if would be nice to see and compare anyway.
Hard to figure a trade down and/or the compensation.Mine would have been Bain or a trade down for Cooper and get another 2nd or Third Round pick so we could pick up a coverage linebacker for 3rd down and 5 or longer. There were a few that looked fairly decent.
I have really high hopes for Bain (I am calling him a mini-Donald - possibly 7-10 sacks in his rookie year). And if he sucks - well I will eat crow for that player.
Brady lover.Well, in Manziel's case his play was the issue. So the Walsh comment is correct. Had he played like Tom Brady there would not have been any issues.
I disagree - if Bain was deemed to be a possible Myles Garrett type then I would want a top 5 QB to offset that pick. But that's just me.Hard to figure a trade down and/or the compensation.
Depending upon the source you read or listen to it's really possible no one wanted to trade up.
While I still question the fit, Bain would probably have to be Myles Garrett like to offset even an average QB.
I guess a Brandon Graham type (whom he is compared to) would probably be on par with or beat a below average QB though. Then again he got 7 - 10 sacks only 4 times his entire career.
Not me. I think his teams have had 2 winning seasons in 9 years and have averaged maybe 6 or so wins a season.I disagree - if Bain was deemed to be a possible Myles Garrett type then I would want a top 5 QB to offset that pick. But that's just me.
Luck Burrow and Lawrence would be the only QBs that looked great coming out of college in the last 10 to 15 years that I would take over Garrett.
Eating crow when we don't know how the kid's gonna perform at this level is a senseless exercise. While silly, it seems to me that a crow eating contest would make more sense if an alternative option is also compared.
That being the player those opposed to the Simpson selection believed the Rams should have selected instead.
That's very well possible if that player panned out and didn't get injured.CB - we could have signed a decent CB for $10M - $12M instead.
I believe the Rams knew it after the season was over that our secondary situation caused us to miss the Superbowl so they went out and got both McDuffie and Watson.
It's definite speculation that we could have signed any CB.CB - we could have signed a decent CB for $10M - $12M instead.
