the rams aren't underdogs because some blowhard puts them at #4 in his fucked up rankings. other teams know who the rams are and they give them their best when they play them.

It’s like the comment I made in jest last week (Cowboys>Saints>Rams). It doesn’t work like that.

If your going to say the Rams are better than the Chiefs because they beat the Chiefs, then what’s to stop a Saints fan from saying “well, the Saints beat the Rams, so the Saints are better than the Rams.”

Just go with your overall record proving your superiority, and leave that other stuff out of the debate.

I'm fine with people ignoring record to a point. And I'm fine with ignoring head to head to a point as well - both the Rams@Saints and Chiefs@Rams were close hard fought losses, and I would not be surprised if in fact we are better than the Saints and/or the Chiefs better than us.

But what I don't like is people putting the Chiefs above us, and yet refusing to put us over the Saints. Makes no sense.

And we have now beat the Seahawks twice, Chargers, Vikings, Chiefs and Broncos - 6 wins against teams at .500 or better - to go along with our double digit wins over the Raiders, Cardinals, Niners and Lions (and then a close win over the Packers). And we've had a double digit lead in every game except against the Saints and Seahawks in Seattle. Which basically means we've been in control of every game save for those two.

As the Seahawks and Broncos surge, our schedule looks tougher and tougher. And yet still people are putting us at 4th in the power rankings? Or even 3rd or 2nd? Ridiculous. We have the best record in the NFL against the most difficult schedule (among contending teams). Get out of here.

Based on last years records, the Saints have the 2nd hardest schedule. Packers were first. Rams tied for 5th with the sea pigeons. The chefs are 19th and the cheatriots are #22 for strength of schedule.

So based on the 22nd strength of schedule and 3 losses, including one against a common opponent (the Lions), the only conclusion can be that the cheatriots are #1 and the Rams #4. :rolleyes:

Good thing the NFL championship is settled on the field and not like the NCAA.

In 3 and a half more weeks and all this dumb shit goes out the window and it’s smashing time! I can’t fucking wait!
