I think we may have a failure to communicate.

I'm not hot to trot to see them in the preseason (although it sounds like we'll see at least a little bit of Quick), I'm simply saying that getting these two back, when they come back, might give us a different picture of this offense than what we've seen in these exhibition snaps so far.
I understood your point. I was simply emphasizing why they're not playing. I'm not so sure what will happen when they see action because the fact is the entire offense is learning and growing right now.

Don't you mean Mason and Bailey?
Hopefully Gurley can play and plays well. There is no need for him come back too soon. This guy neds to be 110% healed before he gets on the field.
No Bradford replay.
Quick is a very good WR. I was not down on him because I could see he was still learning and rightfully so coming from a small school without much coaching for a WR. I think he was right on schedule.

What I do want to see from this offense is Gurley, Mason, Pead, and Cunningham all being used in many different schemes. I want an offensive with imagination. With these RB's and WR's the wild card Tavon this offense should be able to line up in the same formation and make either a run, short pass, or a long bomb a success.
I'd like to see Gurley, Mason, and Pead lined up together in the back field. If either one of them gets the ball they can take it all the way. I think the play possibilities are endless with screens, straight runs, trick plays, and lots of play action.
I think Pead is going to be a key player on offense because he is a very good back, can get the short yardage first downs, and can really block well.

The Rams have some skill players for a change, but I don't see the OL coming together in time for anything but a slow start. Gurley, nor Quick can make up for that.
