I'd rather not see him in a 49ers jersey. Hopefully, the 49ers do something stupid with their top 10 pick.
I hear you... but seriously would be fun to watch Donald wreck him. I’m thinking the dumb roster moves and draft picks might have come to an end as a whole for those shitbags. Curious to see what they do in the draft as well.

No. He's suggesting a team picks him so he can negate Donald or the Eagles and Fletcher Cox. At this stage it is best for some humility. He hasn't played a down in the NFL yet he thinks he is a good match for the best Dlineman in the game.

If he thinks his words will convince a team to take him, he's mistaken. They'll take whomever is highest on their board. Unless it's the Browns, who took Manziel because he called them and told them to.
I don’t get it? Is he supposed to tell teams he’s going to get beat like a drum when he faces either of the two? This is how you sell yourself regardless how little it helps your chances.

There are more humble ways to promote yourself. There is no need to name any players names.

For example, “ With the emphasis on an inside pass rush in the last five years I think my pass protecting ability would be very useful to any team in the league”.

And the post title says he makes me laugh. The Rams stayed two Olinemen very high. Where are they now? He could just answer without sounding like he thinks he can stand up to the greats. Maybr just act like he is happy to get his chance.

So this really about you dont like him being dirt humble and dont want to hear him wanting to compete with the best? This isnt 1970, today is the day of the con(fidence) men. I prefer the former personally but the latter doesnt bug me either.

It’s about me thinking it’s stupid for some college kid to be so full of himself that he thinks it’s appropriate to suggest that he can he can be a challenge for any NFL D lineman.

I also think it’s odd that you have some sort of problem with that. If you prefer cocky young men, so be it. I think it’s important to recognize greatness and be humble, and respectful of those that came before you.

God forbid an NFL prospect for thinking and saying he can compete with NFL pros?!

As an ND die hard fan, I have to laugh. I've been waiting for years to see this "dominant" combo of McGlinchey and Nelson put it together. Sure they opened some holes you could drive a truck thru vs the Navy's of the world, but against big boys like Georgia and the U, they got their lunch handed to them. I used to think Mustipher was gonna be good, but he seemed to regress this year too.
Of course all to be taken with a grain of salt as I wasn't a fan of Zach Martin either....
