Kids today have a poor sense of direction. I love maps. I used them often and had some hanging on my wall when I was young. My son will say, "We went down to Bloomsburg" and I correct him and say " You went up, because Bloomsburg is north ". He has no concept of direction despite knowing how to get places. He's never looked at a map. Its hard to wrap my head around. He uses mapquest without recognizing direction. His friends are the same way.
My wife wanted me to buy a road atlas and my daughter said, "just use Waze". I said, "I do but it's nice to have a backup". When we took our trip, the first time we stopped for the night, I handed the atlas to her (opened to the right state) and said show me where we are. She looked at the map like it was wiring schematics for an AC unit written in sanskrit, tossed it on the couch and grabbed her phone. Kids are used to that and never had to read a map. Just like they don't know what's it like NOT to have a cell phone. Or the internet. Or Waze. Or streaming. We are OLD!

QBs are the center of attention. Have been their whole life. So even the most level headed outwardly, know deep down, they're the straw that stirs the drink. But it's nice to have one that is tough AND delivers like 9. And it's clear why the move was made. I wish Goff luck, harbor no ill feelings but I'm glad they made the move.
