I agree. Rams are 6-1 after cutting Brett Rypien. I truly believe that was addition by subtraction. I hope signing Winn didn't weaken our QB room.

Agree. I leave room for him maybe playing a quarter ... just to get feel for SF D ... been a while but McVay won't risk him of eing hurt. One bad play and he's done for year.

Both Kupp and Puka have been playing dinged up - just gutting it out week after week.

I don’t see them dressing

Gonna be a lot of Wentz to Tutu looks. Zach Evans in the backfield.

I really liked what Tyler Johnson showed in camp. Looked to have good size and good after the catch.

Sure is looking more and more like this will be a preseason type game. Carson Wentz will be auditioning for a future job. But if most the guys around him are backups and the playbook is vanilla, is it fair to Wentz? Might end up looking worse for him. Although if you think about it, if he doesn't do well with them maybe he'll be cheaper to bring back. A good game might catch the attention of future suitors.

Wentz has plenty of tape. He is known. This isn’t an audition.

Plus he will have TuTu, Allen, Z Evans, Skow, Trammel. Plenty to work with against a 49er team with no Bosa, no Warner, etc.

Yeah he's well steeped in the Eagles branch of that WCO so I don't see why he'd be operating on a vanilla approach. It should be the full playbook. I'm excited for him even though it probably won't be too pretty. Just hoping to see him play within the scheme and limit the hero ball stuff.

Hopefully the gameplan will include a heavy amount of runs. Freeman should be able to handle the load. Then cook up a little Rivers and maybe even some Evans.

Are you sure about Bosa and Warner? Have you read / heard anything?

If the Niners rest healthy players, those guys will essentially go 21 days between games. That's a lot.
