Only way the Rams would trade Stafford is maybe at game 8 this year, if we go 2-6 or 1-7 and the team trading to is in the hunt and has deep playoff aspirations.

Ain't no way they would trade him this early in the season.

Greenberg sucks. Golic was the only reason to watch/listen.

...and for today's "Get Up" with Greeny, the Jets should trade for Kirk Cousins because the Vikings season is already over and they should hand him over to the Jets for whatever Greeny thinks is appropriate compensation. I'm not sure what direction their QB search will take them but a James Winston trade would likely make the most sense, both in terms of compensation and salary cap implications. Personally, I couldn't give a fuck about the Jets problems, they are not the Rams so my attention focuses on the Rams although as I've stated before, Greeny can take his "Get Up" and move it to a YouTube platform. Here's something to consider (being sarcastic), the Rams are dire need of an edge rusher. The Steelers season is already over so they SHOULD trade for TJ Watt and of course the Rams can fit his contract into their salary cap so send them how ever many 1st round picks they want. Talking heads who talk shit just need to shut the fuck up.

RUMOR: T.J. Watt to Rams?

ESPN and all the other nfl sports networks need more of kind of analysis. they should be chasing you to sign you up.

It was Mike Tannenbaum’s suggestion; and most of the other commentators strongly disagreed.
Didn't he run the Jets?? Let's give his advice some credo. Okay, done. What a maroon.

I was listening to somebody giving Todd Haley the choices

Stafford: "No way. Ram fans and coaches would stage a revolt"

Carson Wentz: "Ha, ha, ha, no"

Matt Ryan: "I think he's glad the punishment is a thing of the past"

On another program, Cowherd said, "you can't bring in somebody who's going to piss off Rodgers (next year). "

They need to bite the bullet and roll with Wilson. And it's really gotta suck for him. 1st round pick. Failed so bad they trade for Rodgers. 4 plays and he's done.

Saleh, "Zack Wilson is our QB". Not exactly, "we will rally around Zack Wilson and play good football "

There's an over/under for when Payton benches the other Wilson. Trade for him and be the first franchise with 80% of the cap invested in 2 QBs!

Anybody in our office that wants to trade Stafford, would have to answer to A. Donald.

No way in hell Donald stays in the building, if we even hint that we’re tanking.

Tannenbaum was the Jest GM for 7 years, including two seasons they went to the AFC Championship Game. After his time in NY, Tannenbaum was the senior executive with the Dolphins for four years.

Rodgers did not cost New York a first round pick. The Jets and Packers swapped #1 picks this past draft but it was only two spots in Round One. Green Bay gets the Jets' second round pick in 2024. It would have been a #1 pick if Rodgers had played a certain percentage of snaps.

As far as I can tell, QBs that are only one year removed from big contracts (like Stafford and Wilson) are almost impossible to move because of the Dead-$.

Should Zach Wilson fail, trade options might include Kirk Cousins or Ryan Tannehill. Both are in the final year of their contracts, so that eliminates Cowherd's point. The Jets would have to absorb the remainder of either player's salary; and Cousins salary is not that high. However, Minnesota is unlikely to give-up on 2023 that quickly; and their back-ups are unlikely to be the Vikings' future at quarterback.

Tannehill may make more sense. He has quarterbacked for a playoff team that featured a strong defense and running game; and, that's the Jets without Rodgers. Plus, Tennessee has used high picks on QBs in each of the past two drafts; and may want to go with rookie Will Levis. Problem with Tannehill is that he has a high salary, and the Jets may not want (or even be able) to take it on.

Yeah the Titans aren't going anywhere of note. I am sure they already received some calls from the Jets.

He’s got 34 million reasons to stay…
That should be enough.

But I don’t think he wants to be playing on a team that’s tanking this late in his career.

I'm curious to see what they do and how long it might take. I'd think the sooner the better. The trade deadline is after week 7. Will Minnesota be out of it by then? Tennessee? And where will the Jets be with Wilson? 2-5? 3-4? Better? Worse? Is the NEW guy gonna come in and go undefeated?

If I was them I would sign Brady to a one year. He would do it because he knows what that defense means for a QB: glory.

And if Brady gets killed behind the OL even better. Win-win.
I’ll lose my shite if I see that smug pampered prima donna playing in the NFL again. Let him stay up Robert Krafts ass. He seems to enjoy it in there.

You read my mind. Vikings are close to toast and Cousins seems like a good 2 year fix. I believe Rodgers is likely done. So trade QB Wilson, RB Michael Carter, a 2nd and a 4th round pick to the Vikings.
