Once people started talking about Kap coming over, I quickly loosened up to the idea of Manziel.

Sad thing is that Kaepernick has been better on and off the field than Manziel.

He's had proven success at the position as well.
I just can't stand the guy.
I'm not a fan of JF either.
Lesser of 2 evils in my mind.

You are comparing the guy with 47 starts with an otherwise excellent team behind him to a guy with 7 starts with 'B' grade team support.

I am. But that guy only has 7 starts due to his own issues. And the weird thing is that Josh McCown has done more with the offense than Manziel. Manziel doesn't do it for me. Hard to look past all of his issues.

The lesser of two evils for me is the better football player. I can't stand Brady. But I'd take that guy on this team.

Doesn't work that way for me.
When the Dodgers signed Garry Sheffield, I still couldn't stand him. Made for some tough years.

Whoever it is it needs to be addressed once and for all. While we still have all this young talent and a chance at a very good team.

Manziel? F no! You want to gamble our future with that jack ass? I honestly would rather give the keys over to Mannion and than have That Jack Wagon over here!

If i could choose right now I'd take Fitzpatrick/Daniels combo, maybe draft a guy and resign Keenum and develop Mannion.
Release or trade Foles ass, dude is worthless.

One big diff. Manziel has a drinking problem....that he apparently has yet to get under control. That's a gamble I wouldn't take if I were Fish. He's already taken too many risky chances on O that have backfired on him. Though I tend to believe he'll be back next yr (at least), I do think his situation is just tenable enough that he'll be a little less likely to take such gambles.

And that doesn't even get to the question of whether or not JM can actually be a competent NFL QB. Too many people are still stuck on evaluating what he did in college. Thus far, his game hasn't shown much of evidence of translating to the NFL....IMO.

First and foremost I believe we need to hire an established, experienced OC to direct the re-tooling of the qb position. I don't believe our future qb is on this team. I guess if Keenum wins out he has to be considered but (sorry) the best I think he can do is come out of Seattle uninjured than win in sf. I don't see him as a guy who can win against better teams. Foles isn't the answer annd Mannion isn't close.

I don't disagree with your logic, I don't see the upside of any QB who looked good in Andys scheme. To each his own, I guess

Reid has a way of making QBs . Look better than they are. But like, Jerry said Chase looked good out of his O.

Doesn't work that way for me.

I hated when he came to the Yankees. Hated when they got Clemens andA-Rod too. That was a really great run for me. In 1996 I was so psyched for the the next ten year run at the playoffs and once they started bringing in the, Roiders and long time enemies I stopped watching. Now that the Yankees are back to using their farm system I am more interested.

Get Brees. He's rarely hurt and the rams would probably get at least 3 good years from him. In the meantime if they can can draft someone they think is better than mannion in the first 2 rounds, do that also. Gives you the best chance to win now, and plenty of time to develop the new kid without having to rush anything.

This defense and our receivers need a vet qb who is a winner, and they need it now. Brees may only cost a 3rd round pick and would be the best player addition they could make for this team. Plus, if the rams move to LA., you add 3 picks in the first 2 rounds of a draft they can actually take BPA, and there will be alot of ram buzz in the off season.
