Lost me at Kiper.
Kiper is high on Shedeur Sanders. That’s perfectly OK.

He is very high on Sanders. That’s OK too.

This week, on ESPN, Kiper said (multiple times) that Shedeur Sanders would be in the Hall of Fame one day.

THAT AIN’T OK!!!!!

2026 draft looks nice, particularly at QB:
Manning
Iamaleava
Sellers

Nussmeier
Allar
Klubnik

And there will for sure be a riser amongst the others. Personally love the top 3 as prospects. They all have top end arms and are athletic (especially Manning and Sellers). Guessing Ward would be, at best, 4th QB in next years draft at this moment (obviously, things can and will change).

I’m really starting to warm up to Milroe. Darn you @jrry32
Yeah me too, @jrry32 said some things that really resonated, especially regarding McVay and Wolford.
When you add in what Hurts did and IF Miroe hits you have the best player in the draft possibly

My concern is he is as close to boom or bust as I could possibly perceive.

I am game for whatever, we are in a good place.

This also had me thinking that even with his somewhat average by NFL standards skill set Dart does extend plays

My whole QB process is now in re evaluate mode.

Frankly, I'm not a big Nico guy. I wasn't impressed by him last year. He's an A+ physical talent, but he didn't play up to potential. Now, he's young and can improve. But if I was Tennessee, I would have no interest in paying more to a guy who hadn't lived up to the massive amount of money he's already being paid.

I am all over the place when it comes to the QBs and draft strategy.

I gave McCord & Howard a second look. I originally wrote off Howard after the combine because he just didn't look like he had enough arm. However; after watching his film, he does have a nice touch and enough arm in my view. I like that he is big and mobile. Maybe they can improve the arm strength a bit...not sure if that's possible with mechanics and strength training.

So thinking even if Dart or Milroe are there at 26, would it be better to move back to say the Jets or Saints, who would target a QB at 26. Then get an extra 3rd and maybe a 4th (Saints have two 4ths) or a high pick next year?

Then draft Howard in early rd 3 with one of the obtained picks (a reach, but secure a young QB) then still have your 2nd rounder (from the trade) two 3rds, and two 4ths (if you get an extra 4th in the trade).

Could do a lot of damage with those 5 picks plus still getting a developmental QB who did play great in the playoffs.

Makes me want to puke that I have to give credit where its due, but Brady had a noodle arm when he entered the league but increased his strength with exactly what you are suggesting

I know in baseball kinetics training, improving mechanics, is becoming a big deal. My kid used to train with a pitcher who was a D2 guy, and got drafted. His fastball was in the low 90's. He worked with a local trainer who got his fastball up to 99/100. The guy went on to have a nice MLB career... still pitching. His name Lou Trevino. ESPN had a story on his training.

I still doubt Howard has enough arm for McVay's offense. Guys like him have to make those deep out throws on time or it's six the other way. This is where McVay's philosophy works against him IMO. The more standard WCO minds like Shanny who are content to work it underneath and be patient running the ball can make better use of the guys with iffy arms but who have the other things.

If Dart makes it to 26 I would take him for sure. In fact if it was me I'd jump ahead of Pittsburgh if Dart gets that close. But this draft is weird man. Not as many blue chips at the top, and the guys after that don't seem all that much better than some who will go near the 20s. Of course there is just no telling with QBs but this particular year it feels worse than usual.

IMO Dart has more value to a team who is willing to give him the redshirt he needs than the teams who want an early starter. And Milroe is similar. Leonard too, though I doubt he ever develops tbh, he's so poor in the pass game. So for the Rams these types seem to be great fits. I just wonder what the Rams internal timelines look like. Do they think Stafford is here in 2026. Or do they think they need to have an option in house who is ready at that point in time. Because as much as I like Dart that is a question with him just like it is with Milroe.

But this projection game is all a dice roll. If somehow the Rams get Dart I think under McVay he'll develop into a top QB. But if he goes to New Orleans they'll play him immediately and he may end up looking at a couple rough years to settle in. Still comes down to him in the end, whether he will do the work and have the guts to get to that point of development where he can win at this level. Situation does matter though.

Man, things might get silly, desperation can get a lot of teams to do crazy things. My spicy take this week is that 4 QBs go in the 1st round (which seems like a normal take for a lot of people on here!)

If that's the case, think it helps the Rams for sure, either pushing down a player or perhaps making us slightly more desirable as a trade destination.

Only way they can trade him is post June 1, the cap hit is too massive. Im still amazed they were able to get under the cap in the first place.
The other thought is who would want him?

Yeah, I don't think the Browns are gonna want him and the Giants prob don't want another veteran. Do Steelers do a little work on him?

This may just be a guy trying to use what little leverage he has to find a better situation and one's not really out there and this all amounts to nothing.
