you could pay meI just don’t get too invested in what unpaid views of what certain prospects are capable of or how the Rams see the +\- of making certain moves.

Because I’m not.I don’t know how in over a month from the draft you can interpret that as being a smokescreen.
Literally everything can be a smoke screen. I liken it to vetting. Look at a player that could POSSIBLY be there at a given position in the draft. Send your scouts to talk “in depth” with a player you know will likely not be there or is someone you know a team ahead of you is looking at. Almost everything can be a smoke screen at this point before the draft. No one like Snead is going to tip his hand.FWIW, I think Allbright reported the attempt to go up for a LT but sounds like it was for Bowers, unless... THAT WAS A SMOKESCREEN
I got some change in my pocket going chingalingaling.you could pay me
He did, but Rusinni and Shrager also did.FWIW, I think Allbright reported the attempt to go up for a LT but sounds like it was for Bowers, unless... THAT WAS A SMOKESCREEN
bout what I make on Twitter, let's do thisI got some change in my pocket going chingalingaling.
Anything is possible. But I don’t think it’s time to be creating a smokescreen. Without having their board set, they could be sabotaging themselves.Because I’m not.
But knowing Snead and seeing what he just said about his desire for a young qb, I wouldn’t dismiss it either.
Ah, I thought she said Bowers. Hard to keep up with it all.He did, but Rusinni and Shrager also did.
Absolutely. With the qualifier "that they absolutley love", doesn't that go for any position/player? If there's a TE who they absolutely love....or a CB....or a WR...or yes, a QB....take him. But this QB class isn't exactly brimming with first round guys, though that doesn't mean there isn't a future star or two who will emerge. I can't wait to see the direction they take.I don't believe that anyone is saying to select a QB just for the sake of selecting a QB. But, if there is one on the board at their selection in the first round that they love it would be foolish to pass on him.
Russini just got done saying she finds out more info on a team from other teams. They aren’t willing to tell her their plans but gladly talk about the others.Ah, I thought she said Bowers. Hard to keep up with it all.
I will say, I do like him and Rusinni as more right than wrong sources.
Honestly both could have been true to different degrees.
Tackle is certainly on the menu for this draft.
I actually have a few hunnies in my clip so you’ll have to look elsewhere.bout what I make on Twitter, let's do this
Could be nothing could be something. Wouldn’t surprise me if they traded up or traded down. Either way I feel like Snead is always capable of pulling a rabbit out of a hat and wouldn’t dismiss a thing.Anything is possible. But I don’t think it’s time to be creating a smokescreen. Without having their board set, they could be sabotaging themselves.
Or sabotaging someone else.Anything is possible. But I don’t think it’s time to be creating a smokescreen. Without having their board set, they could be sabotaging themselves.
I believe you that he's shrewd and conniving and maybe has the intent you stated. Maybe it's just that he's too shrewd for me and his intent for his statements is above my head. Lol.It may very well be nothing. But I can see Snead making statements that he thinks may prevent a team from moving up or picking a player they may already have on their radar. It’s really that simple. Snead with his funky way of talking is also a very shrewd negotiator and planner. He’s always conniving and doing what he can to hide his intentions. It’s not wrong to doubt that but I suspect his words are planned.
Agreed. Combined with the idea that Snead and McVay don't know THEMSELVES who they're gonna take on draft day. It all depends on how the day unfolds and the strength of competing offers.People crack me up with things like this. They either believe McSnead or not depending on confirmation bias. If it's something they want to believe then they're being truthful if not it's just coach/gm speak.
Godspeed my good man..... Godspeed.trying to not have people get too locked into their opinions that they argue as if they know.
I like Russini... Shrager has gotten more annoying over time.Rising just got done saying she finds out more info on a team from other teams. They aren’t willing to tell her their plans but gladly talk about the others.
Thats what made the fake trade up for an OLT so perfect.
I’ve said it here many times. I’m not a fan of Shrager or Russini. They both annoy me.
And if a QB falls to them it was all part of the plan they said that to throw people off because they have employed smoke screens before. And if they don't take a QB it was a smoke screen to get somebody to reach for the QB maybe even trade up in front of them so the guy they wanted fell to them.Agreed. Combined with the idea that Snead and McVay don't necessarily know THEMSELVES who they're gonna take on draft day. It all depends on how the day unfolds and the strength of competing offers.
Last year, the Rams tried hard to move up for Bowers. When that failed, THEN they tried to move up for Byron Murphy. When that failed, THEN they stayed pat at 19 for Verse. And only THEN did they make a move up for Fiske.
In hindsight, many think Verse and Fiske were the plan all along.
Smokescreen or the truth? Who knows. It all depends on how the board falls on draft day... if the guy they like is at a spot they like, AND whether or not they're blown away by a trade offer.
We humans like to believe things. Whether it's true or not is beside the point. And if a QB falls to them it was all part of the plan they said that to throw people off because they have employed smoke screens before. And if they don't take a QB it was a smoke screen to get somebody to reach for the QB maybe even trade up in front of them so the guy they wanted fell to them.
It's so fun this time of year![]()
I bet he’s already spinning webs for the 2030 draft. Why stop there. Maybe even the 2040 draft.Could be nothing could be something. Wouldn’t surprise me if they traded up or traded down. Either way I feel like Snead is always capable of pulling a rabbit out of a hat and wouldn’t dismiss a thing.
