Stafford needs Puka to be that reliable possession receiver every quarterback needs. But its not without risk if he targets him as much as he did last game. Jefferson needs to show Stafford he can be a reliable target. Or he'll be losing snaps to someone like Robinson.

I suspect Skow gets some extra usage in this game. Rams are gonna need his blocking ability and SF will probably overlook him schematically. Skow can motion to lead block, help on the edge, and make catches across the middle.

Hoping McVay calls a lot of runs early. I know they are unlikely to do much on the ground, but there were some plays vs Seattle that were very close to big ones. I want to see some angry Akers.

Good call on Skow maybe a sneaky option this week. That does seem possible.

I would like to see Allen at TE. Bigger blocker and better hands. Open in 2 TE but pass pass pass.

There is no doubt Puka has something going on. You could see in the Seattle game that he was hurting.

But I wonder if the Rams are playing it up a little to gain an advantage. Maybe to get the Niners off his trail and focus on scheming vs Tutu or Higbee.

I wonder if the Oline rebuild along with the Puka X factor (bigger, physical WR) can finally be the ingredients needed to beat that Niner defense.
