I know nothing about bursa sacs but from what I've read, it sounds like something that might cause long term irritation, especially since Puka will of course be straining the knee every Sunday. Short term, bursting implies synovial fluid leak and possible sepsis, so antibiotics in order I would presume.

I see "load management" in Puka's future.

I recently dealt with a bursa sac issue a year ago in my left ankle area where the ACL attaches the to bone. Let me tell that shit sucks ass! I was limping for a long ass while and limited what I could do.

Hope Puka's age will help with the recovery time and quality.

Yeah, seems like a pain management issue more than something that would limit him structurally. Always a shot or pill away from being ready to go lol. It sucks for him but probably not a big issue regarding availability when it matters.

I've banged my knee on things before and it didn't cause any serious problems, but I sure wasn't able to run afterwards. Walking with a limp for a few days was required. Hopefully his isn't any worse.

We can never compare our injuries to these guys because they are usually a lot more in shape than us and they have every treatment in the world at their disposal, well, except for some premium THC\CBD gummies.:sunglasses:

If you fall down and bruise your knee, I don't care if you are an athlete or not, you won't be sprinting around anytime soon. Even if it's not serious, they still won't be 100%.
