This is the type of story you wouldnt heard of 20 years ago. No one would have given this obvious publicity stunt the time of day. But because there's social media where everyone has a platform. We're graced by her 4th grade understanding of the English language.

My main gripe is how lazy the journalism sector of our society has become. Its all about clicks, they don't care about truth

I would agree, but it's not "lazy" -- it's purposeful.
Click-bait "journalism" will go down in history as being just a damaging to our world as "yellow journalism" was.
In fact, imho it's a layer of click-baity crap icing on a yellow-journalism cake. And it's doing real damage to our world.
In particular, to one Mr. Puka Nacua, and Fox / Outkick / BR / SI / E$PN / etc. couldn't care less.

I got it. I disagree.
I'd say that the bad actors who are using the word when they shouldn't are the ones responsible for casting suspicion on everyone using the word.

It's very important to remember why "clickbait" is a thing..

Because people repeatedly click.

"Real" journalism was attacked for decades, suffered for it, and then those attacks helped fuel people turning to social media for their "content".

The audience now looks for sensationalism or items that reinforce their world view rather than actually looking to learn. This is a statement about the marketplace broadly, as there are still people looking to actually learn and be educated. And there are entities still producing journalism that matters. It's just not clickbait and can't be scanned in 20 seconds.

It's overboard. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TicTok and so on and so on. If you have a smart phone or laptop, you can say anything you want. You can make up anything you want. You can lie. You can accuse. You can slander. These young guys should all know one thing......bitches be crazy.

BTW, WTF is "Outkick"? Is that like TMZ? Or a wannabe TMZ?

Can you imagine if the NFL would have done something about the Patriots paying Brady thru Brady's company of which they were his only customer?

You do have to wonder though, if the Clippers had won a few chips if the NBA would have been so keen to make an example.

Let's hope with all Puka has brought on himself, that he hasn't lost focus but has gained in maturity!!! It's costing him money too!!!

The NFL has yet to say if suspension is in order but at least the court mess is way down the road now.
