Granted this doesn't tell us how many times we helped with a pull to their side or extra TE blocking. But these numbers are impressive, they had some pass blocking issues but they mauled the Jags line in the 4th quarter.

This game sure ended well for Gurley. Late into the 3rd quarter I was sure he wouldn't break 100 Yards rushing. But he sure did!!(y);):D

He was gashing them pretty hard. I was stoked to see it. We took their own game to them.

I probably should have included Sully but I went with these two because they take some grief usually for performance where Sully doesn't.

Ya, They are coming on, aren't they.
From re-looking at several plays, I think our LT is not so much a drive blocker anymore, but a great positional blocker, which won't work against Calais C; is that correct??

Kinda not a surprise...the Jags rank near the bottom in run defense....and Gurley and the entire line are beginning to jell. Listening on the radio, we were really running well in the 2nd quarter.

For good reason overall.
They were good yesterday as was Whitworth. They pulled Whitworth more than normal yesterday.

O LINE has been the biggest improvement from last season ! Simple as that, even with the new weapons i can't see goff looking that confident behind G Rob.

Big kudos to the OL. None of the Rams current success would be possible without their massive improvement from last year.

It all starts up front. Rams OL keeps improving and Rams hang onto the ball, they will make the playoffs.

Brown and Havenstein were killing it. I was pointing it out to my friends as the game rolled on. "Run Right Again, and Again!"

It was awesome to see them blow open those running lanes with #30 ripping right through them. I hope this becomes the norm. Props to these two guys, for this game!

He had a game on his hands with that #91

DE YANNICK NGAKOUE, 71.3 OVERALL GRADE
It wasn’t the most eye-popping grade, but there were plays where Ngakoue did the kind of things the team are looking to see out of Dante Fowler (46.8). Andrew Whitworth remains one of the best tackles in the game but he was beaten clean three times by Ngakoue, with two of them resulting in quarterback hits.

How has Arizona's run defense been this season?
Good actually, only giving up 90 ypg and 3.3 ypc. Granted Dallas was the only good rush offense they've played so far though. Well Philly as well they just didn't run the ball much but Blount had 14 carries for 74 yards.

We can run on any team. Gurley is a 20+carry back McVay just has to trust it. It’s hard for McVay cause the guy likes to throw the ball to win games to ice the clock, that’s why he will go periods of 6-8 passes before a run. I can’t fault the guy because it has worked for him in the pass but he has a really special back in Gurley and that just makes Goff more dangerous when Gurley gets his touches

Back in August, I was of the belief that if the Rams were going to resurrect the run game, they'd have to avoid running right to get that train running again. I'll gladly admit I was wrong about that.

When I started tracking every snap in preseason looking at Brown it appeared he was really settling in. I was excited to see how he held up in the real season since he held his own vs Khalil Mack and others.

Havenstein to me, has always been a solid run blocker. He has textbook hand
Usage to lock on and move guys. It was his pass blocking vs speed rushers that was always the concern. But I think he’s improved there probably due to Whitworth, coaching and Goff’s ability to get the ball out in the new scheme.

Also, getting the run game on track has really helped all the Olineman in pass pro.

Lots of factors allowing the two young guys on the right side to maximize their skill set and improve.

Rams running game really opens up now that they can run right, left and up the middle. Last year it was impossible for the Rams to try a run up the middle and running right was usually for no gain.
