I am one who has really enjoyed watching Sanders get knocked down. I will be curious to see how he reacts. I am not rooting against him. I am rooting against the entitled bullshit. I don't expect his act to change, ever, but if he pulls his shit together and becomes an NFL QB, then good for him. It's either that or he fades away. That won't bother me at all.

Id move Stoops, Edward and Mumpford to the PS.
Yeah - might happen ? Does Mumford clear the waiver line ?
The Rams have others as well.

You can see my post, but there is a lot of gamesmanship that goes on .
I’ve called it. SO Let’s see what happens.

AJ Green - ? He has a hammy(??)
Lampkins is No Joke, but works out.
Kier Thomas -sad,but he’ll get back
Stoops is suspended
Mo Williams ?
These are bubble guys.

Alaric ? We’ll see,but there is no real urgency imo ? I can’t tell you what the backup is going to brings?

The Rams have to make tough decisions, but it makes The Rams players & roster better.Hopefully there isn’t to much damage on claims.

Then again - who knows

I feel that if Mumps was on the bubble he would have played more, although I think he go knicked a bit in one of the PS games so maybe that played a factor. He didn't have an eye catching pre season per se, 4 receptions on 9 targets with a TD and a 9ypc or 1yd per target avg
I thought he did have some bright moments, was it enough?
If the Rams sitting players is a sign of making the 53 he is in.
If he goes the PS route I think he has a better than 50% chance of clearing as the 26th pick of the 7th round. Good Luck to him, I think he has something to offer.

I'm in triva mode today, and Shitter Sanders reminded me of the Rams James Harris back in that 1976 monday night game vs the whiners and their terrorizing front 4 called the gold rush. Rams were heavily favored, and Harris for whatever reason couldn't escape the pass rush. He got sacked 10 freaking times! I was so pissed off. And it's not like he couldn't run; dude could run. Maybe he was trying to stay in the (collapsing!!!) pocket and pass I don't know why that happened. That was the beginning of the end for Harris.

On Saturday SS had the same deer in the headlights look vs the rush that Harris had.

I am so happy the Rams blasted Sanders I cannot stand that dude. He's done nothing but acts like he's all that just because of who his father is.

You may be right. But trying to find a trade partner for either is bad business. Because they're not getting a 3rd for Dillon and probably not a 5th for Shedeur.

Classic buy high and sell low.
I don’t follow, if they trade a player vs cutting them, they are getting ahead.

Agreed. I more meant the decisions to bring in 4 QBs - two as free agents and drafting two. If the plan is to not keep four, and you know you're gonna trade one, don't spend so much resource in bringing that many in.

I don't think he's smart enough to be successful at QB in this league. He should have picked another position that uses his athletic abilities instead.

He's really not that athletic either. He's not to the standards of Jayden Daniels, Josh Allen, or Lamar Jackson. Sanders' athleticism is more like Goff's, probably a little less.

It's quarterback or bust for Shedeur. The accuracy in a clean pocket is all he has. It's still more than Gabriel (fate knows why he was drafted in the third round; I didn't have a draftable grade on him.) has, but the Browns are going to be searching for a new quarterback next year.

Maybe I just dropped in to a conversation that I’m not following. Shedeur isn’t getting cut, he played too good for that. I don’t know what they think of Pickett, he didn’t play all pre-season
Wouldn’t be the worst thing to keep 4 at this point.

If you have top talent you have to work hard to master the mental aspect. Guy like Sanders thus has to work harder still, but sure seems unlikely he has that in him.

I wonder if he can take coaching correction. His coach was his dad after all. Doubt he has the ability to do that but we'll see how bad he wants greatness in the NFL.

You're right. I'm operating under the assumption that they wouldn't carry 4, but maybe they will. If so, then it's not necessarily bad business.

Watching that first-half I was wistfully transported back to the days of the Chuck Knox 2.0 TJ Rubley offensive juggernaut.

I almost wonder if they didn’t let him 2minute drill and possibly let him win because they want to be able to stash him on the PS? I was thinking it was an easy out of the browns if they indeed didn’t like him and would clear the controversy if they gave him a shot and he stunk it up. It also doesn’t make sense cause if he flashed it could’ve been leverage if they wanted to trade him later.

I don’t think that he’s any good but the potential could be there and in turn buys them time and doesn’t burn a roster spot?

ehhh...at CU the offense seemed to be built around his strengths, but that won't translate to the pro level. I think his dad being his coach hurt him in that aspect.
