Win the division, get a home game. Wild card never gets HF over a division winner. Doesn’t matter what the record is.
Yes it does. Otherwise, there is no point in having divisionsI know the rule. I’m questioning it. If you win a piss weak division in 6-10 shouldn’t give you the right to have a HF against a 10-6 third place in a strong division IMO.

Because it will happen for only the 2nd time in history? Change all the rules?I think being guaranteed to BE in the playoffs should be enough.
One could add a caveat... the home game of a division winner is lost in the event that the division winner does not have a WINNING record.
So a 9-7 winner could host a 11-5 team, but an 8-8 or worse team could not.
That could mitigate some of the complaints about tougher divisions and all that.

Let's run that back in case you breezed past it…

Memo to Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Josh Reynolds, and Van Jefferson: Gabriel Davis of the Bills is the last receiver to score against the Seahawks.
Seattle played Buffalo the week before they came to Inglewood.
So that's six straight games without surrendering a touchdown to an opposing receiver. You can make the case the Rams are the best passing defense in the NFL, and even they've surrendered three scores to receivers since their last meeting with Seattle.
