I heard a former NFL player on a Detroit based radio station say that Stafford winced from back pain during the Carolina game. According to him, after knocking Stafford to the ground, the defensive player lingers with full body weight on Stafford. Maybe we should run the ball all day until we get past these bastids!

If the run works anywhere near as good as last week, I'd run it down their throats all game. We have the horses to do that.

Dan Gamble is smarter than Gannon. He won’t line up in 5 and 6 man boxes against 12 and 13 personnel. I imagine he’ll do that on second and third downs, but not on first.

Also being that Detroit plays a lot of man, they won’t be able to cover Tutu and Puka. They’re going to dial up pressure to move Stafford off his spot and force our WRs to get open quickly.

The good news is the Rams are clearly the better team(again). The Lions were the better team in ‘23 and opened a contender window.

The Lion's lost that NFCCG because Campbell gambled at the wrong time. Up by 14 in the second half, he went for a 4th down try instead of a short FG. Goff hit someone in the numbers and the receiver dropped it. Shortly after, Purdy threw a pass that hit a DB in the hands and should have been picked, but it got bobbled and Aiyuk winded up catching it. The whiners scored and the next possession, the Lions fumbled. Next thing you know the game is tied.

I know the Rams are focused on Detroit, but I can't help thinking about how this 2 game stretch has turned into a nightmare situation for the Rams.
While the Rams are going to be in a slug fest with Detroit Sunday, the Seahawks are probably going to be sitting starters by the 4th quarter. The Rams have got to win Sunday cause thursday after detroit is going to take a gargantuan effort to win traveling to Seattle.

The Colts are a strong team--hopefully they can give the Seahawks a game.

BTW, guessing Atwell will be up because McVay thinks they have a good shot of beating them over the top due to the Lions injury at safety. So he might be good for one big play.
Tutu should be good for minimum 3 big gainers, 1 or more may be by flag. I would like to see the 1st O play be a deep shot to Tutu, better than 50% chance he catches it or draws a flag.

They're gonna try and run it down our throats just like the Panthers did.
And go for it on 4th down. D needs to step up on 4th down, they were getting a lot of 4th down stops early in the season and need to get back to that. Get 4th down stops, or at least dont give up TDs on 4th down and Rams should win.
