I'm not just talking about last week. He has been pretty bad all season.

There's been a few exceptions but for the most part he has played badly.

You look at the 4th qtr against the whiners, the Vikings game and ot against the seagulls. Then you look at the rest and you wonder how the same qb can be so good and yet so bad.

In the 8 games apart from the Vikings game, where he was great, he has 5 tds and 6 ints. That's awful whatever way you want to cut it.

.
I've already said a couple times on here how;
Disorder in his offensive line.
It was new to begin with so how does he have confidence in it?
Alaric jackson was missing and then his Center and then his left guard. And last week it was his right guard.
He has had one out of five members of his offensive line play every game this year.
Not only as his pass protection been shaky but is run game is been shakey as well. That's 20% out of 100 percent consistent.
But whatever... yeah... it's all on Stafford. :)

no, but he's not doing anything to make the situation any better.

if mcvay wanted a blameless qb he would have stuck with goff.

stafford was brought in to overcome whatever situation was thrown in his face. something goff couldn't do. mcvay's offense had stalled with goff and he needed a better qb to kickstart it again. the rams reaped the reward instantly with stafford putting on a master class of qbing in the playoffs, leading the rams to a superbowl win.

now you're telling me he needs everything to be perfect for him to function? that's what led to goff getting traded.

Where in the the f did I say things need to be perfect?
If you have to make up things just for the sake of arguing i don't need to deal with you.

You forgot that we had a extremely solid offensive line that played the whole season.
And i'm done with this conversation.
You either get it or you don't. :)

Stafford is 11th in INT, and 14th in Sacks. 17th in Comp %, and 22nd in TD. He is the 3rd worst Qb overall for starters, just ahead of Jones, and Caleb. Some backups have been more efficient then Stafford. A lot comes down to O'line but, not all of it.

Oh I get it.

I'm just not going to blame the oline every week. A fair amount of people wanted the Rams to keep the same oline that played against the seagulls.

The offense was putrid against the seagulls. If it wasn't for a kinchens pick 6 and another INT from him the Rams would have lost that game handily because the offense couldn't do squat. Do we blame that oline for what happened?

Like I said, we can't keep blaming the oline every week.

Yeah…there’s also the fact that both starting WRs missed several games.

In fact…number of games in which Stafford had the benefit of all 5 starting OL and both Kupp and Nacua: 0.

wifey and I will be 3 rows behind the Rams bench for this one. I'll be wearing my #29 white jersey and she'll be rocking #85 Blue

If people don't understand the impact of a consistent offensive line that plays well together and the impact that has on the running game and the impact the running game has on the passing game i just don't know what to tell you. :)
Keep watching games and stop locking onto the quarterback and maybe you'll figure it out

I thought you said everything doesn't need to be perfect for the qb to function.

Are you a little confused?

Evidently not as confused is you, since i didn't say that either way.
And at this point i have no idea WTF you are talking about.
Why don't you go find a mirror and argue with yourself since arguing is obviously a hobby of yours.

I was talking about Stafford being below average for most of the season and you chimed in with the oline being at fault.

I said we can't blame the oline every week. Then you blamed the oline for the whole season.

Then I asked you why the offense stunk against the seagulls and the dolphins seeing people were upset they changed the oline for the dolphins game. Crickets.

Now after a good game by Stafford you come back with a revolutionary post saying oline good, qb good.

Then you snarked that people should stop watching the qb if they want to understand how football works. Haha. What a condescending request.

I, like 99.99% of the viewing public, follow the ball during live play. I can look at the other stuff when they show the replay. You obviously only watch the oline during live play because you're sooooo smart.

Couple quick thoughts on the NE game....
The silly defensive penalties are not acceptable.

Hoeght has become a valuable member of the D rotation. He has now blocked two kicks this year that were big plays. In is very solid in every phase except coverage.

Speights is up and down, which is to be expected. I like Reeder and would be open to resigning him for what he is.....a depth/ST player. Speighs has take that spot for good this year.

The Rams pass rush is forcing teams into check down passing games, like they did when Donald was doing his thing. This is why there are so many underneath passes to TEs against this D. The Rams D held Stephenson to under 4 ypc. The Rams appear to have hit this draft out of the park as well.

I would bring in a kicker to push Karny a bit. Don't want him replaced or anything, but, 26 yard field goals in good weather cannot be missed.

It was refreshing to see McVay have the guts to go back to Limmer at C. I was surprised by that move and think it certainly is the right move at this time.
McClendon was good Sunday......not everyone can play every spot. As much as he does not look like a LT, he certainly looks like a RT.
Feel better that Havenstein doesn't have too be rushed back too soon after Sunday.

Tutu did some good work Sunday clearing stuff out underneath for the other guys.

Good to see Parkinson get in on the scoring finally.

Rams need to tighten up some things for sure, but, its no surprise when the OL has a good game so does the entire team.

More Tutu and TE pleeeeeeaaaaasssse!! I like keeping defenses guessing. Can’t wait for Avila to knock the rust off and get Hav back. I want to see a dominating run game by end of season.
