- The Rams beat the Arizona Cardinals, 27-24, to start the season. The last time the Rams won their season opener was in 2006, vs. Denver on September 10, 2006, with a score of 18-10.

- In the all-time series between the Rams and the Cardinals, the Rams take the edge, 34-33-2.

- The Rams have put together back-to-back home opener wins. In 2012, the Rams beat the Redskins in their home opener in Week 2. The team’s last string of home opener wins lasted from 2003-06, and included a 17-10 win over Arizona in 2004.

- TE Jared Cook hauled in a 13-yard touchdown pass from Bradford. Marks his first touchdown as a Ram. The score was Cook’s ninth career touchdown.

- Cook brought in a second touchdown from Bradford, a 1-yard pass. Marks Cook’s first multi-touchdown game of his career and pushes his career total to 10. Bradford rushed 1-yard for the two-point conversion. Marks the first time Bradford carried the ball past the goal line for two-points.

- Cook finished with 141 receiving yards on seven receptions, both marks led the team. Marks his second-highest career total. Cook posted 169 yards vs. Jacksonville (12/24/11), as a member of the Titans. Marks his third 100-yard plus game of his career.

- RB Daryl Richardson notched 63 yards on 20 carries and added five receptions for 33 yards to combine for 96 total yards from scrimmage.

- Rookie WR Tavon Austin caught his first NFL pass for a 2-yard gain from Bradford. Austin finished the game with six catches for 41 yards.

- DE Robert Quinn registered his first sack of the year on the sixth defensive play of the season when he took down Arizona QB Carson Palmer in the first quarter. Four plays later, Quinn notched his second sack on Palmer for a loss of eight yards.

- Quinn added a third sack to tie his single-game record with 3.0 sacks in a game. The last time Arizona traveled to the Dome (10/4/12), was the last time Quinn tallied 3.0 sacks. He now has eight sacks in five career games against Arizona. The third-year pro has 18.5 career sacks.

- On Quinn’s third sack, he forced Palmer to fumble and DE Chris Long came up with the recovery. The play helped set up a 38-yard field goal.

- CB Trumaine Johnson nabbed his first interception of the season and returned it 29 yards to the Arizona 4-yard line. The play helped set-up a 25-yard field goal. Marks his longest interception return. He now has three career interceptions.

- DEs Long and Eugene Sims each batted down passes at the line of scrimmage.

- K Greg Zuerlein converted three field goals, including a 48-yard field goal with :45 seconds left in the game for the win. Earlier in the game he kicked field goals from 36 and 25 yards out.

- P Johnny Hekker punted three times for 147 yards. He placed one inside the 20-yard line and had one touchback. Only one punt was returned all afternoon and it went for a 1-yard gain.
