Forbath makes a FG Everett grows a pair of hands and even with how shitty we played the 1st half we had a chance.
You are correct about the FG. Puts us within 8 which is one possession. I just really wanted that TD.

Everett pisses me off man. I'm about done with that dude tbh.

Love what our defense is doing and fun to watch. We would have gotten more sacks and turnovers today if there was any pressure on the Dolphins to move the ball and score. I missed not seeing JR in there today.

I like our RBs, scheme and OL execution... we can run the rock. Akers needs more touches and MB should be the third option (short yardage & goal line).

The season is only half over and we have 5 games against our division ... we control our fate!

No true deep threat is adding to the inefficiency for McVay’s offense a IMO.
Truly puzzled Henderson was averaging 7 ypc and he disappeared before I stopped tracking the game.

The BS travel schedule is almost over...just 1 more long distance game in Tampa. The scheduling has made travel brutal this year.

Hendo had thigh injury and was out for 2nd half

Brandon Staley is only 8 games in being a defensive coordinator...I feel like we are literally and figuratively just beginning to see what this D can do. Our running game future looks really bright when Akers and Henderson start getting their pass protections down.

From what I saw presented on teh broadcast... this was only the 2nd 12:00 east coast game ever that mcvay has lost.

Staley's so good that right now if I'm McVay I'd have Shula working hand in hand with him on gameplans to get him ready for Staley being hired away this offseason.

I’m positive we don’t spot them three tds we win that that game

I’m positive that despite the worst first half of football I’ve ever seen as rams fan (and I’m including the Soags and linehan years because of how good we should be ) we will still be around come playoff time

Our identity, even though McVay doesn’t seem to accept it yet, is no longer the 2018 Rams vs Chiefs offense. Strong D and running game has worked for ages for plenty of teams and there’s still hope for us yet in this division. Akers showed flashes today and the run blocking of the o-line remains a strength. We do not need to rely on Goff’s arm.

I also don’t see us giving up a punt return TD and basically 2 defensive TD’s in the same game any time soon.

I’m not throwing in the towel.

The defence is playing awesome.

Aarond Donald is a generational talent. Glad he's in horns.

RB room is great.

Our WRs are very strong. We could use a burner to stretch the field, or a big WR that can go up for a jump ball, but Kupp/Woods/Jefferson is a strong trio going forward.

Lots of young talent on the o-line. We should have depth there for a while if continue to hit on some picks.

I am content with Goff at QB. He is far from perfect, but I don't think people realize how rare it is even just to find a a capable QB, let alone a great one. We have a decent starter that at a young age has proven he can take a team to a Super Bowl. 50%+ of teams in the NFL would kill for that.

McVay is a good coach - which is an extreme rarity. He's not great, in my opinion. But he's good, if not very good. Much like QBs, I am of view that if you have a good one, he's worth holding onto, and that you need to take the ups and downs in stride.

Whoa!
This kind of wisdom and rationale is illegal after losses!!

15 yard penalty enforced at the end of this post.

Aren't we done with our crazy travel? Now its more home games than not and nearly all out west?

5 of the next 8 at home. Have to travel to Tampa, but other than that, our away games are against Seattle and AZ, which are not daunting road trips in terms of the travel time. Hopefully the team will be a lot fresher in the second half of the season.

And Tampon is on Monday night not ten o’clock in the morning
