I like Rapp, Henderson AND Long.

I really hope that Bobby Evans lives up to his hype. I’ll leave it at that.

Was looking at the board and there aren’t many Wade NTs left. Wouldn’t surprise me if they go NT in the fourth to ensure they don’t miss out...and they still might.

Still plenty of talent out there. I don’t think the 6-7 rounds have as much talent as the past. I would use all the picks in the fifth or even maybe use two of the fifths to move back into the fourth. I think the juice is worth the squeeze in this draft.

Honestly, part of the run D problem was AD freelancing early in the season for sacks and TFL without having a LB cover his gap.

AD is gonna be a beast, no doubt. That said, he doesn’t win every time and getting doubled 70% is twice as much as anyone else in the league and nearly six times as much as the typical #1 DL.

To defeat all those doubles, he almost had to freelance. That said, in order to prevent getting gashed, he needs a tackling machine behind him to cover his gap.

When he and Suh stayed in their gap, they shut high powered run teams down completely.

I think the combo of Kiser, Littleton and sometimes Matthews inside with the exterior pressure of Fowler, Ebukam, sometimes Matthews, OBO (don’t sleep on that kid) will make it harder for teams to double AD and will provide the necessary support for AD to freelance and for us to be stout in run D.

Ok, I guess (?). I'm just an avg Rams ran thats concerned about our porous run D (for most of the year) and lack of d line depth.
Imo. It seems that they are targeting value and not reaching.
I have a hard time thinking the staff doesn't realize we need depth at both lines.
Although I was also hoping for those spots to get some attention yesterday (well, Evens added oline depth), we can always add depth after more cuts are made this summer.

With that said.
I'm still concerned about our future LG position.
Is Evan's capable? Idk
Hopefully there is still some value on both lines in the next rnds today.

Rapp is my favorite but where does he fit ?

Weddle signed for 2 years and JJ3 has played great .

I love secondary depth but just confuse on why they spent their highest pick on a safety

Well, I voted for Rapp.

But Damn!

I, too, feel like they hit on all three of those first picks. Just outstanding picks for this particular team.

The Evans pick is a good one, as well. I think he’s a “Kromer Special” pick, tbh. And that’s a very good thing, indeed.

I suspect that history will show that Snead was really on his game in this draft.

For me it was Long hands down. I made no secret I think we badly needed to draft CB(s) and he was one of my favorite targets for round 3. Still think we draft another. Rapp is a Wade guy and I hope Henderson is a playmaker that McVay can take advantage of. But I think Long was a major need.
I just don't get how Long fell this far. He's incredibly sticky and fluid. And he's taller than Denzel Ward who went top 10. So pumped we got him though. A really late corner that I like is blessaun Austin.
