Wow, didn't see that part coming. Thought for sure Sloman would get stored on PS but this makes more sense. Sloman can work on his mechanics and maybe get brought back to camp next season if we are still searching while they give MacGinnis a shot if Forbath sucks it up.

Exactly. This is a contender. You can't have some dude at kicker where you don't even know what his range is because his ball barely clears the LOS. I always feel bad for the young guys who get cut that first year but if he works hard to fix his mechanics he'll get another shot.
