I could have sworn that we had this conversation before, but I didn't find it in a quick search! I am eating this delicious triple cheeseburger from Braums and it is so good! Great, fresh bun and tasty hamburger patties topped with melted American cheese. It's so good that I am close to breaking into song! We all know that McDonalds has the shrunken Big Mac and Burger King has the Whopper, neither of which would be probably chosen as the best. There is a twist to this poll and this tests whether you are a provincial homer of a burger joint! We'll be looking at Whataburger, In-n-Out, Braums, White Castle.

Judge for freshness. Does the bun taste like it was recently baked or stored for years? Is the meat tasty? Cheese? Are the vegetables really good? My answer is Braums, but what's your favorite, having tried them all? Or, are you a Burger chain homer, eh @RamFan503?

Can't eat meat, so only have one option: Burger King veggie burger. Not the Impossible thing, the one with the Morningstar farms. If the restaurant is on point, it's damn good.

BTW Braum's is criminally underrated. Their dairy and bakery is so fresh and good. It's one of the things I miss from being in OK.

Yes...Their ice cream and frozen yogurt are excellent. I had a vanilla malt with my cheeseburger and it was beyond good. You are right about the bakery items, that's why I love the hamburger buns because they take the cheeseburger to another level.

You need an option for other. Lol

White Castles are always great if we head towards St.Louis.

But, my favorite chain burger is the Flame Thrower from Dairy Queen. That fucker is delicious.

Gotta ask...can't eat meat? Or choose to not eat meat?

5 guys needs to be on this list, as does Whataburger. I do miss White Castle badly.

Picked Wendy's. I would normally pick Hardee's, but given that it's not on the list...

I love White Castle but surprised those are on this list. They are in a class of their own. I really hardly call them a hamburger, even though I know they are. They have such a love-hate acceptance, they can’t possibly win this poll.

But I love those fuckers.

Anyway; yeah tough list there for me.

I‘d prob pick Wendy’s from that list, but A&W would be my favorite of the bigger chains.

Haven't tried them all, but I do like me some White Castle and Wendy's. And a Whopper. And Hardee's/Carl's Jr. And Red Robin. And...shit, even a fucking public school one.

I've never had Braum's so I chose the "haven't tried them all option. Of what's on the list, Whataburger is my choice. My absolute favorite though? Austin has a local chain that called P. Terry's that I absolutely love.

Little bit of both. Religious beliefs mostly. As I've grown up and studied environmental science, CAFOs, and general treatment and how meat is farmed, I choose not to eat it now. But I'm not gonna get on a soap box and tell you why you should or shouldn't do something.

You do you. (y)

These are all Texas to West Coast burgers places. I’ve only had Wendy’s and Whataburger from that list.

IMO, the Whopper is the best drive thru burger, but hands down Five Guys has the best fast food burger overall.

Heck I've been all over the States never even seen a Braums.

5 guys is the best, but expensive for a burger.

In n out is good, very fresh buns etc etc and cheap. Also employees top notch for a burger chain.

Burger King since I grew up in Miami and my mom worked there when I was a youngster, I'll always have a taste for a Whopper .

But my favourite was Royal Castle, kinda like White Castle, but Way Way better. Sad there's only 1 left.
