In this scenario, which is the most probably outcome, we would host Tampa Bay. A win would send us directly to New Orleans who would likely beat the Cardinals, although that wouldn't be the craziest upset.

On the other side of the bracket, let's say Seattle beats Washington.

Seattle @ GB
LA @ NO

I think Seattle could beat GB, I'm which case we could host the NFCCG

Or you could flip this and we lose to Seattle and go play Washington. Seattle would host Tampa.

Still assuming the Saints best the Cardinals for now, if we beat Washington, the outcome of Seattle/TB would determine where we go. If Tampa won, we would go to New Orleans. If Seattle won, we would go to GB.



In the first scenario, we get a home game against Tampa, a tough road game in round 2, and a shot to host the NFCCG if Seattle beats GB.

In the second scenario, we travel to Washington, have a tough road game in round 2, then would have either a tough road game OR we could travel to Seattle.



I'm not sure I see much of a difference personally, Washington is a much better team than when we played them, and Tampa is still a scary team.

The asterisks above would be the games in week 17 they'd need to lose for us to get the one seed, so I REALLY hope McVay doesn't rest in week 17.

The Saints are not the same with Hill at QB. They could fall to the Vikings or Panthers.

Green Bay isn’t a very physical game. Maybe the Bears defense rises to the occasion wins a tough division rivalry.

I want the Rams to win out either way. But I suppose that McVay will know where the Rams stand by the time they play Arizona since its a West coast game

Yea I’m honestly a bit confused myself how we haven’t clinched already
 
Green Bay matches up terribly with us right now. They have problems stopping the run. Their main weapons are at RB and Adams, who will be shadowed by Jalen. If we go with the same game plan we did against New England, I see us winning.

Agreed. My only concern would be how many of our players have played in 0 degree weather and then if it snows.

The Seahawks, Buccs and Cards can all end up with a better record if the Rams don’t win another game.

Wait, I see your point.

think it comes down to division record


Rams would be 2-4 in division if they dont win any more games. with more than 2 teams with same record vying for playoff spot, first tiebreaker is division record I think

The way I see it is we have already secured a playoff spot. NO way we don't with the tiebreaker being head to head then conference games.

Worst we can be is 9-7, best Viqueens or Bears can be is 9-7 (and only one will be that as they play each other this week). We would be 8-4 confer and Min would be 7-5 and best Chi could be is also 7-5. Boom we win the tiebreaker.

Now win out and one confer loss for both aints and cheeseheads and BOOM #1 seed. Then Covid clears in time for fans in the stands for NFC championship game, first time for fans in the new house.

Congrats RAMS you have made the playoffs, GO GET IT DONE!

That's my concern as well. Although a crowd capped at 12k fans would certainly be better than playing in the typical playoff atmosphere in GB.
